Review Thai Villa Restaurant - Whanganui

We don't have a lot of nice Asian restaurants in Whanganui and this would be the best in town, the atmosphere is comfortable and food are delicious 😋 they do have a very wide range of food for you to select. The owner is very nice and helpful, if you are thinking of birthday dinner or gathering, this place is the best place in town.

My brother and I had an amazing night (June 2023) and really enjoyed our meals. Thank you for the amazing service and great atmosphere. If I resend my review - it’s due to google always removing my reviews for no good reason :) We had the entree for 2, sweet & sour chicken and red curry. Fantastic!

Tuesday 20th June 2023. Went here to grab a take away evening meal. Place was ramping up (getting busier) so adked if I could order the Lamb Shank Meal as a take home. Due to having had a significantly large order come in it was going to take about 40 mins to prepare. That was fine and the lady serving took my mobile number to call me when it was ready. Pleasant and accommodating staff. They called around yhe 35 minute mark so I went back and picked it up. Brilliant food. A couple of lamb shanks that had the meat falling off the bone. Beautiful oily gravy it was in and a side of rice. Fantastic flavors!! Actually enough to do me for two feeds. Would quite recommend this place and would happily return. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me. Well done.

Glad to have this place up and running again. Its always one of my fav places to eat.good food good location good vibes here .great banquet set menus too.

Absolutely loved everything about our meal. Had the set menu option, a Tues and Wed special. So we'll priced, delicious and great service. Highly recommend.

Friendly staff, nice Thai good, wonderful music. Highly recommend satay chicken with their homemade peanut stay sauce, and the three season fish is made by fresh fish is amazing

We had 4 different plates and all of them were prepared with care and presented looking tastefully we all enjoyed our meals thanks to the staff and cook great evening dinner

Wow!! Our first dinner at the Thai Villa Restaurant and the food, service, and atmosphere was an excellent standard. I had chicken satay as my entrée....delicious and duck as the main, and it was so perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious we're definitely looking forward to getting back there. Thanks to the staff....fantastic job. Very happy customer. If you're thinking of going, it's well worth it and is in the bridge block 😊

Incredible meal & service even though they were very busy. Just seemed a little bit cramped but maybe just because they had a very large booking. Would definitely recommend giving this place a visit - delicious 😋

Just ordered via delivery the drunken noodles and the weeping tiger meals. Delivered hot. Food was absolutely amazing and great value for money, especially the Weeping Tiger. Highly recommend.

Lovely place, awesome food with plenty of options and alternatives, friendly service and adequate pricing. Tofu as vegetarian option was also available although not written in menu. A lot of love put into the entire restaurant with clean facilities and joyful but not overwhelming ambience. Must go in Whanganui.

A great little Thai Restaurant the best calamari I have had in a while. And tried there Duck for a main yummy 😋
