Prices on Google have not been updated, and everything is a couple dollars more than what I have seen online. Classic eggs benedict was good! Coffee drinks all looked tasty as well. Lots of seating for meeting with friends. Plentiful bakery options. Parking area was small but had approximately 6-8 spots.

It was an amazing breakfast with the members of God's Holy Nation Foundation at Parnells Cafe & visiting my grandma's land in Jerusalem ❤💯

As we have a group of members with our Therapy dogs coming for a gathering or hosting an event. Parnell Cafe shows their support and provide one of the best services to make our day really smooth and fun. Thank you for their team which is so easy to communicate with. Definitely a yes for everyone.

I travel a lot for work. Scrambled eggs is my go to brekkie and i could count on one hand how many do that well.... but i came here and could not go past old fashioned mince on toast with a poached egg. It arrived and i couldnt wait yep i was hungry.... and it was awesome.. not heavily salted so you could add more if u wanted. Was absolutely yum. The staff are lovely and patient while i tried to decide what to have.... so many good choices. Lovely food, great cooffe and friendly ladies made the whole experience one to remember when im in wanganui next.

Nice staff and menu options. Place isn't super high dining if you are looking for a place like this. Is a more family orientated place but very nice. Theres a few sparrows flying around but coffee is excellent.

Thorough enjoyed food and coffee. My small quiche was slightly cold Not only after asking for it to be re-heated I received a whole new slice and very hot. That's great service.

I was impressed by reasonable prices, and friendly staff. My meal was an omelete and it was the best I've tasted in a very long while. My friend had eggs Benedict and was equally impressed and pleased with her meal as well. Being a new import to Whanganui she was quite thrilled to find such a lovely place with great food and nice ambience with friendly staff. Thanks and we will definitely be back and with friends.

Classic eggs bene with bacon, a very good breakfast! Great coffee to wash it down and very friendly service. Travelling through close to the state highway. I definitely will return when I'm in town next!

Had eggs Benedict , the best I've had in awhile and I would highly recommend it to anyone else. My friend had the same and also enjoyed it , it's the first time he's been to this cafe

Hidden from plain sight, the Parnell Cafe from Whanganui was a serendipitous surprise (other cafes closed to mourn for the Queen’s death). Decor slightly dated, but otherwise an enjoyable brunch spot.

Great for breakfast with good coffee and super good service. Omelette was tasty

Lovely cafe with several different eating areas both inside and outside. We had really delicious bacon eggs Benedict. Bacon was absolutely 👌. Coffee was also good and so was peppermint tea. Also had a very delectable cake slice.

good covered outdoor and indoor spaces. with an uncovered outside space as well. Warm atmosphere. Popular, was quite busy while I was there- & was approx 2pm. coffee good and bacon butty devine. portion sizes I saw come out to others looked of a good size and not overly expensive 5⁴

What an awesome Salmon Eggs Benedict. One of the best ever. The chef who made this needs a huge compliment. Definitely my place of choice for future visits to Whanganui. Open nice and early so easy to get in and out before the meetings start for the day. Friendly staff. Great food. What more could you want.

Serving food on chipped plates... didn't think it was 'A' Grade standard. Bacon & Egg pie - raw pastry. I alerted staff by marking the chips with a Sharpie Pen, and was publicly berated by a heavily inked staff member. Come on Parnell's crockery is cheap, what about infection control? Plus there was a fly in the food cabinet!

Got in at 12.15pm today, ordered a club sandwich and pie (just to be heated). By 12.50pm we were sick of waiting. We asked where it was, Came out 5 mins later. Very average and not worth the wait. No apology etc. Should of gone to mcdonalds.

The bagel with smoked salmon came without cream cheese. The bagel was dry and hard to chew. When I complained I was told it was like that because it had been toasted. I was offered an untoasted bagel but chose to have my filling put into a sandwich instead! I won't be coming back.

Met a friend here today both ordered under the same number food average had been over microwaved. My coffee arrived hers didn't she asked assistant who said its on its way.. 45 mins later no coffee. Friend asked for a refund pretty slack service�

Yummy as..just as good as it was nine (9) months ago. Warm, friendly atmosphere where you can relax and sit with whanau and reminisce. Mince on toast with soft fried egg yummo I'll be back with my moo 😋😋

We booked the cafe for the evening for our Te Ora Hou team. The venue was spacious and we had it all to ourselves. The food was plentiful and so tasty.
