Review Two Spoons - Whangaparaoa

Their coffee were really good! And the food in the cabinet looks so yum, not the normal food you'll find in the cabinet in most cafe's. Amazing service too, I remembered ordering the wrong size and the girl in the counter were very nice and patient with me. Definitely going back there again.

My daughter and I dropped in to 2 spoons today for coffee and a snack for lunch to take onto the beach. Two very helpful and knowledgeable ladies made our coffees and packaged the food. No problem and with a smile. We drove to beach and coffee and the food was exceptional, a bit pricy but worth every cent. Would recommend to someone wanting something special!

So lucky to have this amazing cafe on the coast! Such a warm and friendly vibe, with the most amazing and healthy food. The savory muffins and fresh salads are the best! It’s food that makes you feel good ♥️

Best welcome, best coffee, great food and selection. Great salads, sandwiches, smoothies and treats. If you're gluten free, no problem.

If there is one thing I always appreciate, is how some local owners will go above and beyond for their customer. I've always wanted to check out Two Spoons, so me, my mum and sister decided to go for breakfast here one morning. We didn't realise that their breakfast is only served certain days of the week, so they only had their fresh cabinet food that you can order. I think the owner/manager could see in our faces that we were really keen on their breakfast and that we didn't take note on their breakfast policy before arriving. Without even asking, they offerred to cook us one of the items on their breakfast. I really appreciate how well we were looked after. Not just that, the food was spectacular and so delicious. The service, as you can guess, was marvelous as well. A lot of their catering also takes into account dietary requirements such as celiacs. A very nice local cafe that I highly recommend to check out.

Food is amazing, I love the GF & DF options, but after buying a tart and brownie from the cabinet I ended up paying $18.50!! That’s crazy!! Wondering if that’s just the cost of living at the moment. Was delicious though. But $6.5 for a brownie is pretty steep, I know I didn’t have to buy it, but I heard good things.

Always a pleasure to visit this funky little cafe. Staff and owners are lovely. Kokako coffee which is consistently well made. Gluten free options and refined sugar free options, plus an array of salad choices. If you visit don't pass up a cheese scone (if you get there before they're all gone) or a brioche.

The food quality is really good, and there's a nice variety of cabinet food. Service is excellent, and it is a nice place to catch up with friends. Not 5 stars as the coffee didn't have the sugar mixed in well, and it is a bit pircey.

so happy to have found this great eaterie on my way to collect kids from Gulf Harbour. My new place to go - absolute bonus that the food is delicious - freshly baked carmelised onion and cheese scone. Later in the day I called back for curried veg and lentil soup. They make a great cup of tea too!

Friendly, locally owned cafe. All food made onsite and delicious! My favourite is the Caesar salad, but you've got to be in quick to get some before it sells out! The ginger slice and carrot cake are also beyond amazing. So many gf, refined sugar free options for those who require, and all amazingly tasty!

Lovely food and coffee. Sarah and Tegan are so great they remember coffee orders and always greet you with a friendly smile. Also love the products they sell supporting other local businesses within the area. Trish and Nigel are always doing their best for the customers and it shows.

Two spoons has a lovely atmosphere and is loaded with good food. They make awesome whole food smoothies and 90% of the menu is gluten free. They also have great vegan and vegetarian option ❤️ Pictures feature some of my faves - cacao bombs, double choc brownie, chia cup and raw caramel slice.

Nice to have a healthy option in the Whangaparaoa shops. On first appearance the decore is lovely and the cabinet well presented.

The menu is a bit limited. I had a green salad, which I loved, my daughter who usually turns her nose up at anything gluten free loved the gluten free banana bread and my son had granola for the second time.

I like that the coffee is organic, but found it very bitter. The retro teaspoons were a lovely touch.

Overall a good experience and I will be back.

A fantastic cafe, excellent service and the food here is sooooo good! The coffee is also amazing. The carrot cake is to die for, highly recommend.

Coffee was good, not a lot of food choices. Hopefully will get better - just opened! Tried out a slice of their paleo banana bread - was pretty moist and tasted great. Was hoping for something more filling, however.
Kelly Sanderson
Came here for coffee and a brownie which were both fantastic. Looking forward to visiting again and trying out more of the amazing looking food.

A great find on the coast - the original crew for starting the health food awareness here on Hibiscus Coast. Friendly service, great food options catering for a variety of dietary needs. Wholesome food like it should be. Well done Trish and Nigel. A great inspiration for fellow business owners. Keep up the good work.

The Coast is so lucky to have two spoons cafe, after years of cafes coming and going around the area, this is the first on the Peninsula to offer a full Range of good real foods! Whole ingredients, a whole counter dedicated to gf foods, freshly made smoothies and great, strong organic coffee. They're always happy to customize your cuppa and can tell you exactly which ingredients are in each item which is a blessing to people with restrictions. Love two spoons!
House Of Eats
Twos Spoons is a small blessing to the coast, one of its kind in the area. I was so happy when this wholefoods, healthfoods, organic cafe opened up. With a range of GF, DF, Refined Sugar free options I could now satisfy my healthfood cravings locally. Check out the delectable Jelly tip raw foods cheesecake slice - aaaaamazing!!!!! PS Great coffee served up from this joint too! Its a must try people.

My favourite place on the coast. The coffee is great- it's kokako coffee from Grey Lynn; the staff are always really friendly and the food is amazing. They have so many delicious dairy-free options- the brownie is incredible! It's just a shame they aren't open on the weekends.
Chloe-Mae
Came here one day for ao coffee while in work day trip what a cute little hidden gem I had never been to whangaroa before and was Impressed next time I'm up I will be stopping here and there food looked soo scrummy- plus they use kokako coffee yumm
Zane Marjorie
Great place for coffee and tasty food. They carry Kokako coffee, which is (in my opinion) the best.

We like to come here on Monday morning, have a long black and a bit of cabinet food. The raspberry chocolate brownie here is very good. Decent options for gluten free and veg, too.
Be aware that they have limited seating and are not set up for large groups. Also they are not open on weekends, which was a surprise.
Anna Harding
Love this place!!! very good food and friendly staff. I always stop by when I'm in the area, which seems to be about once or twice a month. Some of my favorites I can think of so far have been their wraps and sandwiches (the homemade focaccia bread is awesome), their salads, the bliss balls, the cashew and cacaco smoothie, the coffee... recommend, recommend, RECOMMEND!
