Adore this local thai eatery and have gone their every couple of weeks for the past 5 years. The staff are lovely, the views are amazing. I really enjoy the tofu :) I wish they had a vegan chicken too, that would be the bomb.

I really like this restaurant, been coming here for a decade every opportunity I can. The lae time I was here to review they got our orders wrong...which they quickly fixed. The view here is amazing, best at sunset. Highly recommended!

Love this restaurant and is the go to for my mums birthday and other occasions! Even this lockdown we managed to get food from Thai Windows even if we had to have it as an outdoor picnic! Note that their spice level is quite accurate, and some people may not expect medium to be as hot as it is (nice and spicy). Portions are great and I recommend their Thai windows or panang curry. Delicious as always, please support local :)

Best Thai in Auckland. Amazing view and even better food! The satay chicken entree in particular is simply unrivalled.

The finest Thai restaurant in Whangaparaoa. Recommend to order "Hawaiian Duck". "Thai Windows Curry" is very unique, it's good with rice or roti. Fantastic staff and great dishes.

I ordered the deep fried squid, tasted great but I was very disappointed with the quantity for the price $9.50.<br/>The fried chicken with sweet chilli sauce was even more of a disappointment. This chicken tasted like the chicken from the deli at the supermarket. Dry and flavorless. the container of sauce I was given for the chicken had only 1 teaspoon of sauce, this is barely enough for 1 piece!!<br/>Chicken fried rice was ok, but fairly bland. No fresh herbs to be seen.<br/>I wont be eating here again

Tonight I went to Thai Windows with my husband and 2 friends for dinner. I was very impressed, I got the Thai Windows curry, so yummy. My friends & husband were happy with their meals too. The medium was spicy enough for me (like a hotter medium). Attentive staff and fantastic view of Arkles Bay. I can't believe I haven't tried Thai Windows before. Will be back!

Great view from this place, we came for a late lunch but staff were not too happy on the late arrival, they served us anyway. I ordered the cashew nut chicken and my husband ordered the peanut butter veg dish (D11), I was happy with my meal. My husband not so much, it tasted like we were eating a tub of peanut butter.

Got chicken pad thai and beef khao pad for a takeaway. Both well priced and pad thai was very flavorsome but khao pad was soso. Will be back to try something else off the menu.

Dined in and had takeaways. Service is good, well portioned meals and really tasty. Had the pad Thai vegetarian which was exactly what you would want in a pad Thai. Yummy!

The restaurant was good, one of our favourite Thai places. Unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience the last two occasions we tried here. The quality of food is not even close to what it used to be.

This is probably one of the random-est Thai restaurants i've ever been to. Located in whangaparoa, up a dodgy stair way. The place looks really unconventional and totally unconvincing, but my friends said their food is pretty darn good... so we thought "why not?!"<br/><br/>When we arrived for lunch, there were no one there. There were 12 of us 8 adults and 4 kids. There was only 1 waiter, and i was pretty sure he didn't really want to be there and was probably pretty annoyed that we came in as a big group. It took him a while to get us plates and our drinks etc...<br/><br/>We didn't want the lunch menu and they obliged... we actually ordered quite a few dishes.. we ordered 3 whole fish, one steamed and 2 fried. 3 curries, green chicken curry, roast duck curry and a fish thai window curry. We also ordered some pork stirfried in tom yum paste, and some vegetables cashews. We actually finished everything! The food was amazing! They were super tasty and quite authentic. The highlight for me was the fish window curry, the pork in tom yum paste and the duck curry.<br/><br/>I would have totally given this place a 4.5 if it wasn't for the bad service. The food didn't take too long to arrive, but the rice took a long time to come out, so we had to wait before we could eat. <br/><br/>Overall it was not a bad place, I would probably do a take away if i am around the area. <br/>

Dines here with friends last night. Complete disappointment on every level. Service was extremely unfriendly and unbelievably slow and when the food did finally arrive it was bland, overlooked and probably the worst Thai I've ever had in New Zealand.<br/><br/>Maybe it's the only Thai restaurant in Whangaparaoa? It's the only reason why I can think of as to how it survives. We shan't be back ever.

Decided to go for a nice dinner out with the in-laws and our 8 week old baby. In preparation, we made sure the baby was fully fed thinking it should give plenty of time as the restaurant was only 5 minutes away from home. The restaurant is long and narrow, not very many tables. We were seated at the back on some very worn out sofa seats. After a quick look at the menu, we signalled to order. We had to ask a couple more times and it took half an hour before someone finally came to take our order. We originally only ordered mains, but the waitress asked if we would like appetisers as there would be 'a small wait'. We questioned how long it would be, and after checking with the kitchen, we were told '20 minutes'. We did order one chicken satay which came 20 minutes later. Our mains didn't arrive for another 25 minutes after the appetiser (more than double than what we were told). By that time, the baby was starting to get fussy and so we quickly had our meals and were on our way. The order of service was really weird also. People were not served by the order they arrived, and the food seems to come in no particular order either. It's really a shame service was so painfully slow, the restaurant had a nice seaview and the food was pretty good. One of the mains we ordered was a duck and pineapple on sizzling plate which was very tasty.

Lovely food and service. We spotted this on the way back from Shakespear Regional Park and even though we were not hungry, we decided to try it out and ended up having our dinner. They were very friendly to all their customers too

Nice Thai Restaurant, Service was a bit slow at first, we had to ask for the menus and drinks after 30 minutes, our entrees came out about an hour after we ordered, our booking was for 8pm and we got our mains after 10pm.However beautiful meals, really tasty, would come back here again.  They just need to brush up on their level of service.  Beautiful food though.  Lovely views too.

The view is amazing, but the food left a bit to be desired. It was nice enough but lacked the spice and fresh flavor of a good Thai meal. Service was below average, with 15 mins passing before the drinks order was taken, and another 30 before we got the food. Family friendly so there were a few screaming kids. Definitely ask for a window seat!
