Review Ma Rew Thai Restaurant - Whangaparaoa

Some great authentic dishes and most can be switched to Vege/Vegan. I've tried the Tom Yum Soup, Panang curry, Green Curry, Pad Thai and Sweet and Sour so far and have been impressed by all. I opted for just vege, no tofu.

Always incredible food. The best red curry. There was a small issue with our recent order but the team resolved it quickly. Thank you so much.

One of the best Thai restaurants I’ve had the pleasure to experience in my travels around the world.

I come here a little bit too much, this place is amazing and I can’t get enough. The lunchtime special is an absolute deal and we have always had a pleasant dine in experience. Love this place and would recommend to everyone :)

Ordered a thai vegetable salad for takeaway and it is so good! This is my favourite thai restaurant as their flavours and food are very authentic and aromatic! Staff are very friendly, helpful and their service is 100% great. Thank you Ma rew thai! Love your food and lunch specials

Delicious, fresh and so well priced. We had Singapore noodles and ginger stir fry and were both full! Nicely presented, lovely staff and pretty place. And both very different flavours and textures ... definitely hand made fresh not just a sauce. Our new local fav

As a Thai person who have been living in Auckland for a long time, eating at Marew made me feel like i was back in Thailand eating authentic thai food again. My favorite dishes are the green curry and padthai.

Nice went when quiet so service was great! Nicely done curry and the rest of the eating party was very happy also, nice saxophone playing over the speakers quietly (not live)

Based on our three takeaway experiences to date, we are very impressed. Dishes are as good as we have had anywhere, including Thailand. Great to see a consistently good, quality restaurant in Gulf Harbour. Thank you.

Our favourite Thai restaurant so lucky to have it local

Had Duck Breast with Red Curry Sauce T'way last night. Duck was cooked perfectly. Curry was HOT but that's probably my lack of experience with curry. Only negative comment (and hopefully constructive) comment I have was that there was a lot of oil in the cooking left on the plate.

Food quite bland. Best part was the sliced cucumber.

10/10, i would always have to go out of silverdale to get these kind of noodles. & this was $13.50!! Super cheap, food was ready by the time i got there, staff were friendly. Would be going back !
Really in love with their pad thai! Request for spicy and the spicy is good! The brownie dessert also good taste!
The restaurant is comfy and tidy place to eat, well clean as well! The service is good and food served quick, we are group of 9 who have just visit Shakespeares Park and only need 6 min drive to here. Overall we are happy!

Ordered Pad Thai with peanut sauce for lunch.

The good: Atmosphere - the place is clean with quiet jazz music playing

in the background. Lighting and decoration is also good for a

small takeaway place.

Price - the food is very cheap, with decent portion sizes.

Service- Waited about 5 mins for food to arrive.

The bad: Mainly the quality of the food. The peanut sauce didn't use

good peanut butter. The food was not too salty, but my tummy

felt bad after eating, even so I only ate about 75% of my plate so

didn't stuff myself. I believe this is from the excessive amount

of cheap oil used, and the meat had a rubbery texture.

Overall the experience was ok, but as I really enjoy eating I would rather pay a bit more elsewhere for better quality food.
