Went and had dinner here. I had lamb ribs, and my wife had Salmon. We both enjoyed our meals, with them being perfectly cooked. We finished off with the Apple and Pecan pie which was lovely to finish with. We will be back just for the dessert.

Had a good experience at The Archer. Ordered pizza, fries and salad. Food was delicious. The menu offers a variety of options at a good price. Service is great. Nice chill place to dine. Offers a good area for large groups. Highly recommend.

the food quality here is exceptional, I think the best on the hibiscus coast. All the dishes tasted fresh, and the bread is homebaked. The menu has a lot of options, and the owner here is also very friendly. The food is quite rich though. Well worth coming back to :)

Amazing Christmas Lunch. We have hosted Christmas for many years and this year we decided to treat ourselves and have lunch at a restaurant. The Archer were doing a Christmas special and we were not disappointed. Doors opened at midday and you were greeted with a glass of bubbles, numbered allocated seating and unlimited buffet. I am normally not a buffet fan but this was amazing; huge array of foods covering starters, mains and desserts all fresh and so well cooked. The service was amazing, the food was so good and made our day, glad we made the decision to do this, we drove from Orewa for this experience! The Archer is consistently good, so if you are looking for a good meal out I can’t recommend them enough. As its limited numbers make sure you dont miss out next year, book early!

We popped in for an afternoon snack and a quick drink on a hot summer afternoon and it was so great to have the many seating choices inside/outside and on the indoor patio area. The staff are friendly and the service was quick.

Valentine’s menu is a good deal. we both love the shrimp & pork tacos they’re equally amazing 👌pls add this to your usual menu!! salmon was cooked perfectly. apricot hearts were alright but i love the crème brûlée better. this is our 2nd time here & will definitely keep coming back. also, their kumara fries is the best we’ve tasted so far.

I cannot rave about this place enough! After suffering through the pandemic Danny and his team have pulled through and are still here. They are always bright, bubbly and make you feel like a long lost friend every time I walk in. The food is off the charts - fresh, hot and always reliable and consistent, great value for money. This is now our local, come on everyone support local and get out there and lets keep our small businesses alive by showing our support.

Great decor and design, good music, good menu/food, good drinks list, friendly service. Food took a wee while, but not complaining. No water for table but we could've asked so no biggie. Overall a very good spot for lunch and a drink

Went to the Archers today with our Orewa Dazzling Violets Red Hat Ladies. Staff absolutely lovely and welcoming. The meals were spot on and sent our compliments to the chef. We look forward to lunching there again. ❤️

Eye fillet cooked to perfection, didn’t need to season it additionally. Decent wine and beersies selection. Didn’t try the cocktails but saw some good ones going past.

This restaurant is a lovely place for a night cap or a full on birthday dinner venue! The staff are attentive and efficient. They give the best food and drink recommendations. My meal was a pork cutlets meal with delicious mash. It reminded me of my mom's cooking. All our friends were satisfied with the generous servings but we still made room for dessert! Nicky is an amazing food and drink connoisseur!

We dined here recently for a family birthday, table of 7. The food, service and attention to detail was excellent. It's was a busy night and they were near capacity, but the staff work so well together and everything was amazing. Highly recommend and will be going back soon!

Brought colour pencils and kids menu can be coloured in. Nice range of kids meals. Fast service which is good for the little ones. Affordable prices, good food and friendly service. Only recommendation is to add milkshakes to menu, seeing as so many famies go there.

Danny and his team at the Archer create a brilliant atmosphere and look after us all very well everytime. From just popping in for a quick drink to spending hours there on a good session the Archer has everything you need! It has a few different areas so you can be more lively and play pool / watch sports or retire to a more cosy table and just chat. It's the perfect place where everyone is welcome. 5 Stars and then some!!

Love this place. It's great for a group, or if you just can't face cooking. The burgers are the best you'll find anywhere, and don't get me started on the onion rings! Perfect when accompanied by the berry mojito. We are lucky to have this place in the neighbourhood.
