Fat Camel - Whangarei - Photo album

Brunch today was courtesy of Fat Camel Israeli Café and it was delicious 😋. Had an Israeli coffee (a 1st for me), and it was lovely. Brunch was Shakshuka, absolutely scrumptious and an Iced mocha. Such a beautiful café, great atmosphere, very busy with lots of people stopping in, plenty of seating
We had the chicken pita pocket and smoked salmon bagel. Chicken shawarma pita pocket was particularly delicious and flavourful, generous portion (though more hummus would have been wonderful). Friendly staff and good service, highly recommend to anyone coming to Whangarei!
Best Barista in the north! Had coffee here this morning, was amazing! The foot here is amazing too. The staff and Idan are very welcoming, friendly and very hospitable! Would definately come back a third time next time we're in town!
Awesome cafe, amazing food, super friendly staff. We stopped here on Boxing Dad, and this was a great find! The food was absolutely delicious, the best pita ever. And a great selection of cakes with excellent coffee.
Delicious food. Great location and vibe. Really enjoyed our dinner. Authentic food. Try the special platter if you can't choose.
I have eaten loads of shwarma in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv - the chicken shwarma pita pocket at the Fat Camel is right at the top as a bona-fide contender for the "most flavoursome chicken shwarma" category. It's not cheap by any means, but the quality of the marinade they coat the chicken pieces in i
Amazing food, awesome selection for vegans and carnivores alike. Friendly courteous staff. Highly recommended
Really good food and great coffee. Friendly staff. Had a fat camel special breakfast
I am glad I found this little busy cafe hidden in a lane, food on the menu look good with some healthy option, like vegetarian and gluten free. Quite big portion, but delicious. You should give it a try if you are in Whangarei, strongly recommend. Service is good too!
We stumbled upon this little gem by accident. It was well worth it. The dishes are phenomenal. It gets quite busy and given that it's a wee little place seating can be a mission. Service is great. It's mostly Cafe food but excellent if you want to give Israeli food a taste.
