Best food and great ambience if for dine in for indian food. The dinner was amazing and up to the standards. Staff is friendly and restaraunt offers excellent experience for a dine out👍🏻great range of options to pick from.

Went for the buffet tonight 05/11/23. Absolutely amazing service, bottomless food and great atmosphere. The owner came and chatted with us and said if we need any help figuring out what the food was then to yell out. The buffet is such good value for money and tastes delicious. We will be back 10/10

The Sunday buffet is brilliant. Great variety for only $27. The chickpea curry and the lentils were amazing. Great customer service and friendly staff.

We were traveling to Whangarei and needed something to eat around 9 pm. Everywhere we saw was closed but this place was open and we were so glad it was! The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the restaurant is clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend giving it a try!

Good food but inconsistent service. I had a few meals at Shiraz Haveli Indian restaurant, mainly because the first visit’s experience was a positive one. I found on the second evening visit that the menu given to me the previous evening was only a lunch menu! Even upon requesting, the staff did not budge. That said, the place looked busy - with diners as well as takeaway clients. The food was delicious and the service reasonably quick.

A very pleasant evening. Food was absolutely fab as were the staff. The spicy onion Bhaji was the best we have ever had. The chilli chicken was perfect we will be back Look forward to the Sunday buffet

I dined at Shiraz , and I must say, their Chole Bhature is an absolute delight! The combination of fluffy bhaturas and flavorful chole left my taste buds dancing. The service was equally impressive – attentive and friendly staff made the dining experience even more enjoyable. Can't wait for my next visit!"

The lady who Served us was polite the food cam out fast and hot we came in for lunch the pirce was just over $60 for 3 ppl which is good in my opinion we had protein of choice rice and nuun bread

Yum dinner . Fish Tikka was excellent entree. Two lamb mains( korma and kola puri) winners but the star of the night : prawn malabari

Food was yum & generous amounts. Very well attended by very helpful & professional staff. Also noticed they were careful to clean used tables & chairs. Most food was gluten free so good for hubby & staff were informative.

Friendly and welcoming. Plates came out warm, food came out quickly, was hot and delicious! Excellent service and the kids say the food was yum! So will definately be back!

Best butter chicken in NZ in my opinion. Travel all the way up from Auckland to eat at this place. Good prices.

A very good example of a very bad restaurant. I have never left a negative review in my life & I do realize this is not Michelin starred restaurant. The guys at Shiraz Restaurant in Whangarei ripping people off but selling Biryani for $17.50 & all you get is the small pack of bix that you get in any take away for $5.99. On top of it they charge $7 for delivery. Yes that's right $7. I live in Auckland & visit Whangarei every 3 weeks for my work projects in a financial institution. I rang to order lamb biryani for the 2nd time, the first time u ordered I got surprised by the serving size of the pack. 2nd time I had to order 2 dishes as their serving size is too small & they charge heaps lot of money. In Auckland you can buy family pack biryani from Paradise Restaurant for $35 which can easily feed 6 people but Shiraz is charging $17.50 +$7 for delivery in Whangarei. Even $7 for food delivery is very dear. I called & tried to speak to the owner Jas & told him that we pay $35 for family pack in Auckland which east feed 6 person & he goes all restaurants in Auckland do not pay their employee fair wages &'pay under the table to keep the prices low. His accusations are totally wrong. Then he said I get a bag of 10kg onion in Whangarei for $28 & Aucklandwra can get the same size bag for $8. Even this is wrong. He goes this is why my prices are higher as I pay PAYE off all my staffs. (This wil be verified soon though) at the end of the conversation he goes I won't service your order & will not deliver food to you. For any potential people looking to buy indian food in Whangarei I would highly recommend to avoid Shiraz. They are RIP OFF, have no courtesy & do not know how to talk to their customers. On top of that he admitted he is being running restaurant in Whangarei for 21 years. This will also be verified by IRD soon.

Best Indian restaurant I have ever been to. It just tastes better here, must be how they prepare it. Real Indian herbs and spices. If you like it hot try the mixed Pickle! Enjoy

Been a few times now can not fault.....Be great if they had a goat dish tho
