Review Bob Cafe - Whangarei

Had the most delicious keto meals here recently. Eating keto hasn’t been easy given very very few restaurants and cafes provide keto in whangarei…but the keto menu here was extensive in comparison and the portion sizes were perfect. Fettuccine was creamy and tasty, full of chicken and bacon. Everything was so good. Have already recommended to others and will definitely be visiting here more often :)

Food is genuinely fantastic, fresh and tasty. Café can be quite cold in winter, with limited heating and kitchen service can be a little slow on occasion but worth the wait.

I may have left a review last night about the keto and portion sizes but the fact is they are the only restaurant offering a keto menu and it tastes good. The non keto food also looks amazing and super big portions.

Stumbled in on the long weekend simply through lack of choice. The opposite of the menu where the choice fir breeky was almost paralyzing. You name it. They do it. Plenty of it expertly cooked. We used to drop into the basin fir our all day brekkys. Never again. Bob's is the best brekky between waihi beach and the far north.

Friendly and welcoming, I would highly recommend Bob Café. I had a coffee and a breakfast muffin and both were brilliant. The prices are reasonable, I will defiantly be back with the family.

We LOVE this place. They have a wonderful keto menu with plenty of options at really reasonable prices. The coffee and tea are both fantastic (because tea matters too!). Really friendly and quick service and everything is served in/on beautiful china. Don't let the exterior decive you, this place is a gem.

Bob’s Cafe is THE PLACE to go in Whangarei for great food, service and ambience. Great staff, always aiming to please, delicious fresh food, and an inspired Ladies Room experience, don’t miss a trip to the loo. Our pilates barre class has met after class in many places in town over the years, but Graham and his crew have “raised the barre” to such warmth, we will never go anywhere else. A truly heartwarming cafe experience, I will never forget, even as it is my time to sail off to foreign shores, and Graham sent me off with a farewell survival kit! They practice what they preach at Bob’s, see their recipe for making Love.

Nice place. Had the smashed avo (swapped to scrambled eggs) and omlette.

Lovely breakfast meal. I had 'keto smashed' and coffee. Smiley freindly staff. Food deluvered to my table. Cosy surroundings.

Bacon and poached eggs were cooked perfectly and ciabatta was one of the best I’ve had. Totally recommend. Very quick service.

This is our most favourite cafe in Whangarei, Food is always good, and the coffee is the best in town (IMHO)!! And the staff... all are friendly and helpful, they make an effort to remember your names, and regular drink - A++++! Prices are medium, but not too pricy really, because the food is all good! The lemon tart is divine! The multi flavoured frappes are loved by the kids! My only gripe is that they're not open on Sunday! (they used to open on Sunday). Please - please re-open on Sundays!!

This has the BEST coffee in Whangarei. The food is very good and they will cater to picky eaters who can't have gluten etc. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The eggs benedict were devine. Wish they opened for dinners.

Seriously, the BEST brownie I have ever had in my life - and I'm old... It was drizzled generously with chocolate sauce, and served warm with cream... I really had to resist the urge to lick the plate clean. It was divine! The service was good, although the waiter could use a belt. The coffee was pretty good, too. I've had a lot of brownies in my life, and I'm a self confessed chocoholic, but this was amazing. Can't wait to have another.
