Nice cafe with a classic kiwi vibe. Decent, well priced food. Lovely location where you can sit in the park or just sit with a view of it.
We stopped at this cafe, which is located at the same location as the Whangarei i-site. Yummy good food and coffee. The free WiFi works great! I was able to do some work on my laptop with no issues.

This little cafe, part of the information centre really surprised me. Friendly staff and a good menu. Food was really good and I had a nice coffee. I had a BLT and the wife had french toast which were both really good.
Press Cafe never ceases to impress me with their coffee, cake and Kai. I often find myself arriving into Whangarei and looking forward to my conversations while waiting for a decent cup of coffee from the ladies. They have a "coffee for the board" which is a "pay it forward" type of agreement. You

Much better experience with the change of ownership, used to go there alot but stopped because the food was just not up to scratch and the prices were too much, now its great l will definitely be returning again! Keep up the great work!
