Always a great atmosphere, friendly and their coffee and food are amazing. I am Sad that my work place is no longer near the cafe but am always happy to drive down to see Matt and Chris.
Fantastic service. Very lovely kind owners who always make you feel welcome. Highly recommend. I will be returning. I came in with a pram and a sprained ankle in a moon boot and we had room inside to be seated. Thank you team

Stellar flat white (New Zealand latte, only better - try it!), New-York-quality toasted bagel and cream cheese, to-die-for sugary ginger bar square, exceedingly friendly (and quick!) service, very pleasant interior, exterior seating as well, seems highly appreciated by the locals. Go here!
Used your wise reviews to find a great coffee in Whangarei this morning and had a perfect oat fw. My tomato w cream cheese bagel was fast and the service was super friendly. Recommend
I only had time for a muffin with coffee, but the coffee was awesome and the muffin super light and delicious.
The owners of this cafe are very warm and welcoming and helpful.
I really like being able to go somewhere that is put of the way of the town basin too.
