Amazing. I've tried many different Indian restaurants and the Dal Tadka here is one of the best curries I've ever had. They use whole spices and it's skillfully cooked. Not to mention the presentation is above average too. Nice atmosphere and friendly service. It's unassuming from the outside but definitely worth visiting.

We dined here during their $10 lunch special deal, and what a wonderful lunch it was. For $10 you get a curry, rice, and a naan. All freshly prepared and served quickly to the table. A perfect place to get lunch on a lunch break. The curries were absolutely the best curries we’ve had in a long time, and the best in Whangarei. The flavours were just delicious. We will definitely be back for more!

The food at this restaurant is good, authentic Indian. They have an extensive menu and cater for different dietary requirements, and are knowledgeable about products containing allergens. The chana masala (chickpeas) and aloo ghobi were the best we have had in NZ and are comparable with curries from places we ate in India.
The menu is extensive and has some favourites as well as some lesser known dishes. The prices are relative to other Indian restaurants, and their takeaway service is fast.
We have been multiple times and have never been disappointed

Really great Indian food. The team there are so friendly and really care about what they are doing. Naan's are always hot and fresh, curry's are well spiced with tender meat and delicious sauce. Will continue to go back.

My local, opened late 2018 and I'm working my way through every dish on their takeaway menu. So far every dish has been brilliant. Dined in with a group of 8 just before Christmas and food was beautiful. Highly recommended.

Accidentally found this place while visiting Whangarei for a few days. Had the Lamb Korma with Naan as a takeaway - absolutely delicious. Fresh, Fast, Tasty, Generous portions. It was so good I scoffed the lot. Reasonably priced food and friendly staff to boot. Wish I lived in Whangarei so I could go back and dine-in.
