Real nice experience have nothing but praise for this place. Great food, great coffee and great staff. Bonus points as we brought our dog there. They have water for them, and if your lucky your dog might get a treat. 10/10.

The first thing we noticed was there was lovely music and that was at 7.30am. That music just never intruded on our conversation either. The coffee and service were excellent. The food was tasty and plentiful. Best cafe experience we've had in Whangarei. Go Sabio

This is one café that is raising the standard in café cuisine. Highly recommend. The kai is awesome and staff were friendly and warm. Top marks 😊👍

This has been a go to place for for sometime now for a friend & I then with others..but have only lately tried the board menu meals. The two so far I've had I rate pretty highly are: The mushrooms-they are yum..but because they are richly flavored, next time I'd ask for no melted cheese on the toasted baguette slices & I'd add bacon just to balance the richness. And the other is the French toast meal with added bacon was super. (First time I had the maple syrup in a separate jug which Id prefer each time. I forgot to ask for bacon the 2nd time ; I personally missed it as it balances the sweetness for me. Nice softly cooked bacon too). I've tasted the Homemade baked beans & will be ordering one visit soon..they were tasty. Again I'd add bacon..theirs is nice & not too salty. Very nice peppermint leaf tea for after meals.. The tin of Japanese Line tea is an enjoyable one to have at home. This place has atmosphere in a nice simple relaxed style with its quiet but up market modern appeal. Three different sized tables from small to large. Thank you Sabio for the extras you have to offer..coffee beans & teas & your water on tap!

Kia Ora, first timer here on a Sat mid morning (Dec 22) Best omelette in Whangarei!, very good quality establishment placed down a semi industrial/commercial area, coffee spot on, very well presented menu up on the wall. Kid friendly (no kids menu though), easy access, all good all round. Was like being back in Albany again, very quality place, Will be back for that omelette!!! Thankyou

I had the smoked salmon eggs benedict and hot chocolate, was yum! Runny egg, fresh tasting smoked salmon, which wasn't half cooked under the eggs. Good portions, friendly staff and most important, CLEAN!!

As a Coeliac I always ask for gluten free options. I ordered the creamy mushrooms on gluten free bread and it was absolutely delicious. The chef came to our table to advise me that the kitchen isn't completely gluten free but my meal would be prepared safely. I was so appreciative of his care and I would recommend this cafe to everyone!

Went in here for lunch for the first time. What a great service from Jeena & Ani. All of the staff was amazing but these were just outstanding. Ani, I’d have to give you a 5 STAR for the beat barista in town👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. Food was outstanding and so was the dark choc banana cake😍. Well done team. Keep up the good mahi See you again soon Cheers

Best coffee in Whangarei. Well priced, small flat whites (strong 2 shots as they should be if you're a picky x wellingtonian like me 😅), lovely deep caramel colour, perfect texture. Very nice cabinet food, nice atmosphere, perfect walk around the loop afterward, or a visit to Hihiaua Cultural Center. Fresh beans or plunger coffee available to purchase, friendly staff.

We continue to use Sabio for our weekly catchup. It's great to see that they have their service into a great rhythm now and despite being very busy they had a good turnaround of our breakfast order. Great staff as always!

First class coffee, awesome cabinet food and a great experience all round. I visit here every time I'm in town. My dear friend and colleague Mary visits here every day it is open :) Never disappoints.

This is a popular, and a pleasant find. Clean, modern spacious with an appropriate fitout. A great food selection. Buy your freshly ground coffee while you have your hot drink break. Somewhere you would take your friends to. Cabinet food for both eat-in or take-out. Parking not to bad out front. Acoustics surprisingly good which make conversations easy. No music (great!!!!). Tables or barstool seating available. Small groups would also work. Outdoor seating when weather permits. Pleasant team. Fair pricing. Coffee roast and grind done on site.

Called in for brunch with our little family. Was super impressed by the lady taking our order - she was very attentive to allergies and happy to answer questions and find info as needed. The chef was super lovely too and whipped up a breakfast to suit our little guy then delivered it with a smile and made conversation with the kids - made them feel very special and welcome. Food is delicious and very well presented. Only thing missing is a kids menu, but I reckon next time (and there will absolutely be a next time) I'll just ask if we can do a half size meal for our little ones. With the outstanding service we received I'm sure this wouldn't be a problem.
