Enjoyed my main. The margarita and pina colada were very good.
Service was awesome on all the 3 different times we went there.
We had the rib box a few times, too...very yummy.
Didn't like the crème caramel, though(It's my opinion, someone else might like it).

Amazing!!! Fantastic food, fantastic service (Tina was awesome 🥰), and the playlist was bloody brilliant 🥳 Didn’t have to wait very long for anything - our table or our food. The only bit that sucks is the parking because it’s so busy!!!! 👌🏻

Really loved it here..we only could get a table outside and it was raining so we nearly canceled but decided to go anyway..and it was really beautiful..it was actually better than sitting inside!!lol!! The food was delicious too..the burger was really good..and the steak was to die for..seriously GOOD!!..and we had a birthday lady with us and they sang her happy birthday and gave her a beautiful lil cheesecake..candle and all!! Really loved sitting outdoors with the heaters and blankets..was really nice!!

Wanted to make a stop to give kids break from driving all morning in the car. After entering the restaurant, I got bit nervous as we had to wait some time to be greeted/talked to. But it seemed the staff was simply busy at the cash desk. Once we got noticed, everything went well. The service was great, staff friendly and attentive, the food was another level. We were extremely surprised as we did not expect we will eat that well. Food was fresh and served like a piece of art. Thank you for full bellies of ours and amazing experience. Can’t wait to be back!

Been to Lonestar a few times and I always enjoy it. The food is pretty good but not over priced. The atmosphere is usually busy and the staff are working hard to serve everyone. It's not perfect in anyway but it's not too bad and I'll probably be going back again sometime.

Amazing staff. The service was exceptional, thank you Tash! We did not have to wait long for our food to arrive, and it was scrumptious. The potion was large. We ordered dessert and it was to die for! Highly recommended, ensure you reserve as it is a very popular restaurant, and we can see why!

Lone Star's garlic loaf has THE thickest and most flavoursome garlic butter spread i have ever had for an order of garlic bread!
The middle loaf slices have the spread thickly applied and seeped-into on both sides of each bread slice. Fabulous!
Steak was ok - not the best i have tasted (that honour goes to the matsuzaka beef at Steak Satou located in Kichijoji Tokyo), but the marinated cajun chicken dish my fellow diner ordered was done really really well!
Ended up 110% full :)

Noah C was our server and he was great. Was very attentive without being intrusive. Polite and well mannered and just fantastic from beginning to end, hence the five stars. Food was good however would have like some more sauce with my mussells. Husband had the Prawn Star main and was absolutely delicious and plentiful. Dessert was delicious having the Longhorn Cheesecake and Creme Brulee with great coffee. Overall a great experience and we will be back for sure.

This was the first time that we have eaten at Lonestar Whangarei. The service was amazing from the moment we walked in the door. Eva was out waitress and was so attentive and helpful. The good was amazing and we didn't have to wait long at all. We will definitely be back.

I went with my kids on a Saturday night as part of a larger party. The staff were really helpful and super accomodating of our specific dietary requirements. They were great with the children, and got their meals out quickly. Very family friendly, and we will definitely be back.
