Quick and friendly service from lovely staff, food and drink came out fast too! Great spot for breakfast or lunch overlooking the park/wharf.

Friendliest staff ever, right after sitting down for breakfast on a Sunday morning they brought toys for my 3yo, had plastic cups for him as well. Food was delicious we didn't wait 10 minutes for all our food and drink despite the place being fairly full. Definitely coming back.

Food was amazing. Amazing view and friendly staff. Wish they had waiters taking orders thou as the line gets out the door and congested entrance but worth the wait. Relax sit down and wait a few minutes while you enjoy the view.

Highly highly recommend!! Huge range of cabinet, menu and drink options for all dietaries. These guys always nail the perfect poached egg. Portions are super generous and you can tell everything is really fresh.

The food in their cabinet is so delicious, haven't even gotten to trying dishes from the menu yet! We love the Moroccan Chicken Filo and either of their Sausage Rolls - filling, fresh and especially flavourful with that relish they're served with :) Great service from the young ones, too, they were super onto things and did a solid job! Even takeaways are packed so considerately and well.

I had their vegetarian nachos for lunch. Very yummy and the rest of the lunch menu looked great too. Good size meals to suit most everyone I ate outside watching the harbour. A very lovely spot. Great friendly service and a place good for kids too.

Easter Monday 45 minute wait for food. Would have been nice to know when ordering. Luckily this was overshadowed by the quality of the meal. Very yummy. Dogs in the cafe, bit strange? Would definitely go again if the wait time was shorter.

From location to ambience, from coffee to food, and the best staff that makes Harbour house whitianga the best cafe in town. Their coffee is always to perfection and food is just yum. The fresh baked treats are so tempting that you would want to eat them all. Sadly they close at 5 PM so if you want something for your sweet tooth after dinner, grab it in the morning (they open at 7 ). They have the best hot cross buns which they call it smiley buns 😊! My favourite 🤔? I wish I could rank them.

The corn fritters and crispy potato salad with bacon were good value for the money. The salad was huge. Will have to go back to try the coffee.

Phenomenal value for money. Hubby had the Roast Vege Salad for lunch, and then they produced my meal. Crispy Potato & Bacon Salad. Oh my goodness - you should have seen the size of the plate. Needless to say I couldn't finish it all. Well .... I did have a wee spare room for their scrumptious chocolate & raspberry brownie. Lunch with a view...you really do have to try it.

Great location. The staff are friendly and the food looks beautiful. I have visited here many times. Most foods are delicious, but some foods are tasteless, so salt and pepper are a must.

I like this Cafe that is just in front of the bay. Coffee was nice and there are a lot of Jimmy looking sweets to try. It's good for kids as they have a toy box there available to use.

Delicious food with everything being made on site, except the Melting Moments! A full time pastry chef takes pleasure in creating all of the sweet cabinet treats and the daily scones, muffins and pastries. Oh, the choices are so hard, you will just have to return on another day to sample your old school favourites. Chef has a daily specials board as well as a breakfast menu running all day and a lunch menu from 11am. Lafarre coffee is made to order with your choice of full milk, trim, coconut milk, oat milk, soy milk in Tulips, regular or large!

Delicious food (though a bit on the expensive side). We had a pleasant seat by an open window with a lovely view while we ate.

Great breakfast. Me and my friends went back on two days. They're eftpos charged me double accidentally but they were quick to resolve it when I called them the next day. Great cakes as well
