Good food. I enjoyed the vegetarian stuffed capsicum, it was a bit different to the usual vegetarian dishes. They serve generous size meals. Staff were friendly. It was a bit noisy, although there was a big group.
Delicious meals, great atmosphere, hard working team. The manager John is so lovely; managed to fit a group of 11 in during a busy time and we didn’t wait long at all for our meals. Huge value for money and highly recommend. Thank you! From the lower north island crew!
Been here a few times now, and always good service and great food. Prices good and great view from outdoor dining. Pity no coffee available😊 My friend was gluten free and that was easily accommodated.
I struggled to eat it all, but I did! Had the Steak n Guinness pie 🥧 😋 partner had bangers n mash.. both were yummy 😋
I visited here with my mum for a hearty pub meal. The food came out quite quickly - we probably waited no more than 20 minutes. I ordered steak cooked rare - it came out perfect, just how I like it. My mum ordered the stuff chicken thigh and she said it was delicious. I recommend this place for a sa
Biggest meals we have ever had. Waiter said no one goes home hungry and he wasn't kidding ! Great value for the money. We had ribs and fish and chips. The terakihi was delicious. White, moist and a lovely light crispy batter. The ribs were plentiful, my husband finished them but couldn't manage all
Went here for dinner. I ordered the BBQ Pork Ribs which were really good and delicious. The portion was very generous with a lot of ribs. This dish was very good value for money at $31. This place also has a really nice atmosphere. Overall I would recommend coming here.
Great value tasty meals, large servings. The kids loved the fish n chips and Thai salad. I had the Steak n Guinness pie (would have been rude not to) which was perfect for a wintery evening. We didn't expect foodie level offerings, but we were pleasantly surprised. Great location too. An excell
A great all round pub with an amazing backdrop. The food is delicious. Really well situated along the waterfront with plenty of parking and still an easy still to the centre of town. The boat ramp is across the road and so is the local playground. As well as the ferry wharf, making this the perfect
Foods was on point, massive servings so if you aren't a big eater I suggest you just order a main instead of a entree and main. We ordered entrees not knowing the servings were huge so it made it hard to finish our mains. We are big eaters so I really recommend this place to those that eat alot and
Generous servings of Ribs and chips and my portion of chicken parmigiana.. huge lunch meal..! Very tasty However, when i asked for a cup of tea to have with our meal.. only could offer a glass of cold water.. thats a bit disappointing.. especially when we dont consume alcohol or soft dr
Bar Manager is fantastic. Super friendly staff. Love the atmosphere, food was good and would definitely recommend the loaded fries!
Awesome selection and great service. Food was fantastic. The mussels came recommended and did not disappoint. The pizza was crispy and delicious wood fire made.
Nice environment. Friendly staff. Great food and well located. Tables are not very comfortable but the rest was really good. We ordered chicken parmigiana and it comes with salad and crunchy fries.
Great place in whitianga Great meals and beers to choose from happy staff nothings a problem love the character of the pub looking forward to my next visit with friends for more food and drinks cheers guys 👍
Food was good but staffing were a bit off. had to get up and get our own cutlery after getting the food. I understand it’s been hard here but a lot of the tourist attractions were closed due to damage so only places to go are food, not hard to be a bit more happy and make the coromandel more enjoyab
