We had a lovely coffee and berry tarte here. Food was served with a choice of yogurt or cream on the side. We were catching up with some old friends and they let us sit there way past their opening hours, very hospitable, amazing atmosphere and very lovely team! 5 stars well deserved, thanks team!

Wonderful cafe! We had the best coffee and breakfast there. The owner and staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. We went back again the next day. Gluten-free options were avaliable. They make their own baked goods, and everything tasted so good. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming.

Café Coghill is one of my favorites in Whitianga it provides great food options from cabinet to specialty options. I love their Seafood Chowder, it is to die for. The Café has recently been renovated and has a great atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and the service is amazing. Highly recommended.

By far the best place in town. Food is beautifully homemade and the staff are so lovely and accomodating. Always feel super looked after going there. Def recommend to anyone visiting this well established business in whiti!!

Great little find in Whitianga, lovely staff and dog friendly on the outdoors deck. I had the big breakfast which was delicious just the right amount of everything, my husband enjoyed his eggs benedict nicely poached eggs, generous serving of hash browns (3) on side. Coffee was delicious, umbrella was put up as sun came out. Food in cabinet looked good too.

Had a cheese scone and a peach and cream cheese muffin. Both were very good. Had a banana milk shake nice but a little small. They have a high chair for the little people and some toys available which is awesome. Great outdoor area for sitting and some covered seating. Is push chair accessable too. Great experience

Returned for breakfast after a while. This place is consistently good. Service is quiet and efficient, generating a great, cosy, intimate atmosphere. The food was well presented and delicious. Coffee is excellent. Ample parking down a quiet side street and ample seating indoors and out. However, this is a popular place, and gets really busy in the summer months.

Just had lunch and it was amazing! I had some kind of tomato mozzarella quiche and it was to die for! The staff were super friendly, the peppermint tea was top notch and it's just a lovely place to sit in the sun 🌞 10/10 highly recommend!

Overall good experience. Staff were really nice and service was quick. Yum coffee- I got another to go. One little bit of constructive criticism- the caugette quiche was very garlic heavy. Doris plum cake was amazing- reminded my parter of her late grandmother. Will return here x

What a great little place, it's a little off the Main Street but what a find! Coffee was excellent - served just how I asked, strong and well presented, meals were a good size and tasty, though the bacon was very greasy. The cabinet had a good range and the menu was reasonably priced, service was friendly though nothing special.

If I am not planning to stop at Colenso then I can be found here. A really good choice of tasty dishes and the place is always buzzing. I really enjoy their vegetarian lasagne. I have tried other places in Whitianga but rate this the best. Service is good, but a lot of people seem to serve so there isn't really a personal touch but that is a minor gripe. I still enjoy going there.
