I'm my opinion the best cafe in Alex, and that's a pretty big compliment because there is some good competition around here.
The cooked food is excellent (Awesome Mushrooms!), and served in generous portions, the Coffee is also top notch.
Service is friendly and no matter how busy this place is, you never seem to be waiting long for your food.

Great coffee and incredibly good home made muffins. Was very busy on the day we were there but the wait times were ok. Well worth a look if your in Alexandra.

I absolutely loved my Kumra Feta Salad & the Mocha Cake bite was one of the best I have had.
We were looking for vegan / plant based options to eat in Alexandra while driving through.
We ordered the Avocado Stack and the Coconut Granola. Both were excellent value for money. We were left feeling satisfied and full.

We stopped in Alex because we spotted a Farmers Market. After walking around the market, we popped in to Tin Goose as it was just across the road from the markets. The place was busy due to the summer crowds but our orders came promptly. We ordered the salmon bagel dish and a fried mushroom dish. Meal was good and the coffee was nice.
Lovely meal and Staff . Stopped for a late lunch before heading back to Dunedin. Eggs Benne and coffee was awesome as was wife's hot cakes . Will be in again soon.
Pleasantly surprised on our first visit here. Food and coffee was great and super quick though they were busy.
Fantastic gluten-free scones - best we've ever tasted, and the GF caramel slice was awesome too! Friendly service too.
Great cafe with awesome breakfast. Hearty portions at good prices, friendly service, nice atmosphere. Conveniently located right in the center of town along the main drag. I will definitely return. 👍
