We were on our way from Hanmer springs back to Christchurch and we stopped over for something to eat and a beer at Brew Moon. The Pizza was incredible, goos range and we ate it so fast i was unable to get any pictures, sorry! But best pizzas I have had in a long time, perfect base with fresh ingredients.

A nice place to sit outside in the sun and have a few beverages and something to eat. They have a good range of craft beers (though no wheat beers unfortunately), plus some choice of wines by the glass which were pretty reasonable at $12 each. They also offer cordials with your choice of mixer in a 500ml glass for only $3! I had blackcurrant and raspberry cordial with soda. There is a range of burgers and other dishes. I had fried chicken tenderloins with garlic aioli for under $20 which were tender and delicious. Staff were very nice and efficient. I did hear someone saying that the bar doesn't offer coffee, which would be a good option. I would definitely go back 🙂
Awesome family friendly location. My husband and I used to go to brew moon 15 years ago so we were excited to check out their new premises. Cool decor, simple design.. low key but with a bit of flair.
Great selection of beers & an inviting looking menu. Staff were exceptionally friendly and accomodating. We loved the tornado fries and the pizzas were delicious. Sand pit was a hit too.
Will be back to try the burgers.. they looked epic!
I love this place! We checked into our hotel up the street, saw there was a brewery 150 meters away, so off we went. The beer selection is excellent, and we loved our hazy IPA and Stout. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and it was out quickly and yummy. The servers were friendly and helpful, and it’s clear the locals love this place. I sure understand why!

Great dining and tasting experience. My wife and I spontaneously decided to stop at Amberley to check this brewery out. We did not regret our decision. Great food, great staff and great scene! Wide variety of beers! Highly recommended. Will definitely stop by again if we happen to be in the South Island đź‘Ť

Awesome local brewery! We did the tasting board. The Waipara New England IPA is an absolute stand out beer! Food here is also so tasty - can’t go past the cheeseburger.
Great range of beer, really good quality pizzas, reasonable prices and cheery staff. We shared a tasting flight of 8 beers for $20 to figure out which beers we liked best, then picked our favourites to accompany a few pizzas. The friendly guy behind the bar was a bit forgetful, forgetting to bring us our tasting flight and then fialing to put through our dessert pizza, but he totally made up for it and we still had a great night. Would still absolutely recommend this to anyone who likes beer as a great night out. Maybe just keep an eye on your order!
