Wait staff is superb! Great place to break bread as a large group or smaller. They'll look after you and fill your puku with scrummy dishes. We had a bit of everything and I was quite satisfied. I wasn't a fan of the cocktails on the list (mainly because I like my drinks sickingly sweet) and the bar tender was nice enough to meet the brief and concoct my very own customised cocktail - this was a highlight for sure. I'll be going back for sure based on this first experience.
A combination of amazing food, friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere makes for the perfect night out! The 5 course chef's choice was particularly good value for $55 per person and we ended up with 9 separate dishes!! Chef's were more than willing to accommodate dietary requirements. We'll be back.
Absolutely superb food. We had baos for starters and then chicken curry for main. Both were excellent. Thoroughly recommended.

Everything about this place was fantastic. The food was some of the best we have had, the staff were all friendly and had great energy and the relationship they had with Blue Door bar next door meant I could try a bunch of craft beers I had never had the chance to try. We did the trust the chef me u and it was amazing value and everything was top tier delicious. We will absolutely be back next time we are in the region!
My partner and I came here last night (whilst on a short holiday from Melbourne) and the food was amazing! The staff were super friendly too. Only a few vegetarian options on the menu but if you ask the staff, the chefs will kindly alter some of the meat dishes so that there are more vego options to choose from! Would definitely recommend.
Couldn't have had a more delicious birthday dinner. Amazing service and quality of food. We did trust the chef and everything was delicious and high quality.. my only recommendation would be to bring out the veges or salads with the meats and curry to balance things out.
5 stars for the excellent food, ambiance, and service. Very contemporary menu with something for everyone. Friendly and helpful staff. Although they were very busy, there was a reasonable wait for the food. The pricing for the food is good value and not overpriced. If you're ever in Arrowtown, you should definitely go here, but book a table!
Although we were an unexpected walkin at 7.30pm on a Sunday night the exceptionally friendly and happy staff made us feel very welcome. The generous proportions of every course were delightfully tasty and a wonderful example of fusion food . It's fair to say we were pleasantly surprised and will return to chat with the friendly staff and to sample more parcels from the delectable menu. We were unable to finish everything we orderd but it was neatly boxed up for us to take away . It was the best arrowtown meal for under $100 for two people . Highly recommended
We flew in from Melbourne to Queenstown for a 4 day trip. We ate out for breakfast lunch and dinner every day, and Fan-tan was some of the best food we had while away. Good service and good flavours in all the dishes. Would definitely come back if we revisit NZ
