A great place to be if you are a Cheese lover. I did cheese tasting for the first time and couldn't stop myself from ordering a cheese platter all to myself. It is served with choice of cheese, crackers and fresh fruit jam. Absolutely delicious! You can pick lots of assortments and have them on way.
Another regular place we love to visit when we're down this way. Beautiful setting, good coffee and yummy food. Unsurprisingly the food is cheese themed! Great selection of cheese and accompaniments for tasting.
First off... the front staff was super friendly and helpful. They offer a small selection of cheeses for sampling. We tried their mini gourmet cheese platter which was great. They also have a winery in the premises which means the wine quality was very good. I would recommend you to come early as it gets busier as the day goes on. Overall, it was a great stop and if you like cheese you should give it a try.
A wonderful pairing of cheese and wine. Very reasonably priced and generous with the size of cheese too. Friendly staff and water for you to also drink. Small gifts and sweets are available to purchase too. You can also take home your cheese in a bag if you dont eat all of it. Also do get the olives - they are extra but really good.
We loved everything about our stop at the cheesery. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the wine was delicious, and every element on the Mini Gourmet board was perfectly curated to work together. And excellent selection, prepared with attention and care. The price for two of us was likely less than if we had stopped in to a full restaurant, but we left very full and satisfied with our experience.
Amazing little spot for cheese tasting, definitely stop at Gibbston Valley Cheese if you’re in the area.
Recommend you try all you want before you settle on a triple cheese platter, and of course buy a little block (or two!) to take home for further snacking sessions 🤤
I love that you can sample the cheeses before deciding which ones you want for your platter! The staff are really friendly and helpful. The blue cheese is a MUST! So so so good, I wanted to buy some but was spending the day travelling in the car and didn't have the means to store it.
Free cheese tasting and the lady in charge was very helpful, she explained what makes the cheeses unique from each other. Loved the blue cheese (not too strong) and the cumin gouda.
Amazing, we had a cheese platter with 5 different cheeses and a baked double Brie absolutely delicious. Highly recommend. Awesome setting will be back!
