Well this was a really great place to spend mothers day people friendly and food wonderful, often call here fora coffee well worth thevisit
ASHURST HAS IT ALL
This unassuming little cafe in Ashhurst sure knows how to make good food! Had a lunch here recently, and had the kumara rosti, served with smoked salmon. They made the rosti fresh so it was superb, not a reheated thing that you get in many cafes these days. Everyone at our table really enjoyed there meals. It could do with a small spruce up outside, but the food and drinks more than make up for it! Family friendly too, and has plenty of outdoor seating for sunny days.
Great first impression we had when we visited this cafe, very friendly staff and felt at home with our toddler running around outside having a ball with other familys kids there also, hard to find a good family friendly outdoorsy type place where mum and dad can relax and take a break while our lil miss kept herself busy. Delicious food, the chilli pie was bloody yum and I don't like hotfoods. Ee are definitely returning to this cafe, we enjoyed the food, the friendlyness, the atmosphere, it was worth the drive out. Thanks guys
I am a regular at Fusion Cafe and always find it a pleasure to be there. I think they do an amazing job for a small village eatery. The food and coffee is of a high standard and the staff friendly and efficient. I have the Eggs Benedict and enjoy it. Not sure what Kathryn A is all about. A bit of snobbery I suspect.
Coffee is very good. Love their wedges with bacon and cheese. They sometimes close a bit early but I have always found their food lovely.
Love this place! I have been several times and found the coffee excellent and the food wonderful. There is a special ambience about this place. always warm and friendly.
Kathryn A, I don't know what you are on about! The benedict I had was delicious, maybe I am not as cultured as you obviously are.
Did you let the staff know that the sauce was horrible and the coffee was average?? I bet you didn't just thought you would air your thoughts on line. Typical! If you don't let them know how are they supposed to fix the problem??
Fusion Cafe worth the drive out to Ashurst, the food is amazing, and the staff are attentive and polite. I'll be going back.

A great little cafe, with a nice outdoor area. Menu suits most people. Very clean, efficient, and friendly. Great spot to stop before/after Saddle Hill
Great to see the Latte Bowl still in existence tho the coffee in it wasn't the best. Still good atmosphere a plenty of old favorites in the food cabinet. Would come again.
Stopped in on a cold morning for breakfast, shop was warm, staff friendly, coffee good. Breakfast was delicious. Don't hesitate to stop in if your this way. Thanks team.
Fabulous spot in Ashurst to stop. Traditional tearoom room offerings in an amazing garden setting - the white wisteria was a bridal veil the day we we visited. And fantastic traditional prices too.

Beautiful atmosphere. The food is only beat by the amazing service. The employees are very friendly. They have large servings and drinks may look small but definitely aren't.
We visited Fusion Cafe for breakfast and were d wet lighted with the selection and service. My friends and I had just finished a cycle camping trip to Totara Reserve and were ready for second breakfasts.
I find it odd as someone who lives in Ashhurst that I never have the time to visit local businesses but am so glad the guys convinced me to stop in for breakfast.
My omlette was delicious but I was envious of my friends Fusion breakfasts with their lashings of bacon.
Definitely worth visiting more often.

A little gem tucked away in Ashhurst. Food was to die for as was the coffee! Great service, atmosphere and experience! Can’t wait to return!
