The ham and cheese croissant was delicious and the hot chocolate as well. The place is small and cozy. The people working there are very nice as well.
I'll get back at some point to try more. They have an interesting variety of sandwiches and sweet treats.

I had not have such a good coffee in a long time and the ham and cheese croissant was divine: thin ham and flaky and buttery pastry.

I’m impressed by how good the egg/mushroom burger or sandwich thingy tastes. This tiny place is listed as top breakfast in Auckland CBD for a reason. Highly recommended.

A quaint coffee shop in the Auckland City Hotel...I only had time for a bacon, cheese and fresh thyme scone - with a bit of New Zealand butter and an Americano. The most savory and moist scone ever! Very pleasant and quick service. The space is tiny and they make due with what they have. If you miss the doorway they have an take away window on the street. Multiple awards displayed on their wall by TripAdvisor too.

Staff is very responsive, energetic and upbeat this is what most coffee lovers like first thing in the morning. only thing that drove me back to this coffee shop was a memory of few months ago that the staff there was really very pleasant and during a stressful morning it is better to have a smiley and energetic person with a nice background music serving you coffee than someone is rushing and stressed. Coffee and cakes are very good, there are only a couple of chairs to sit there but please has positive energy and ambiance is good, after spending a little time there I suggest walk on Hobson Street (turn left) toward city centre and you will have a great view of sky tower.

A very nice tiny cafe inside the lobby of Auckland City Hotel. I enjoyed a beautiful breakfast here, just after my check out. It is a lively place with a diversity of local people that make you feel the atmosphere of the city. I recommend the delicious low carb chicken wrap and the blueberry loaf. Was more than full after that. A special thanks to the barrister who served my flat white in a porcelain cup instead of the usual paper cup🙂.

I have been a few times at this cafe and both times the staff were welcoming and truly amazing, their coffee is also very nice but one of the best part of the cafe has to be the daily delights they create from the tiny convection oven, I had their mocha scone the last time I went and it was amazing accompanied with my flat white.

This little cafe is beautiful, such a warm and kind welcome by the team here, what a difference it makes when you feel so welcomed. The cafe is attached to the hotel but do not worry about this, enter the hotel and turn left and a warm friendly welcome will be waiting for you.<br/><br/>I had a decaf flat white with a dark chocolate scone which they warm up for you, the decaf was absolutely delicious and if you get the table by the window it's a perfect little place to watch the world go by. Also a few tables and chairs outside the entrance too as well as a little seating area opposite which is decorated vintage style or a modern bench and tables near the hotel reception. Everyone so welcoming, in the cafe and the hotel staff, always a pleasure to be here, thanks all for getting my morning off to such a wonderful start.

Omg, I went for First time to this place today and I love it. The coffee is really REALLY good, you can feel de extra shot and the taste is amazing. I tried a sandwich with bacon and egg that was delicious, perfect for this raining day. And the best of all was the service, the guys are amazing, me and my fried had a fun talk with them. Definitely one of my favorites in the city now. U should go!

I am a coffee addicted and this is my favorite cafe (yes,for coffee addicts searching for GOOD coffee). Their cabinet food is always so fresh and delious, especially the scones got me hooked. <br/><br/>The customer service really makes this place special, with the most lovely and friendly stuff who always welcomes you with a smile. The cafe almost feels homey.

You cutie. The owners of Fond (ou) were so pleased that we had made the trek to their little cafe, that they were all smiles and insisted that we try their home-made muffin on the house. This little shoe-box cafe has a charm that I think only enthusiastic new owners can bring. The cabinet food was limited, but what they did have was delicious. There were two tables with comfy chairs where we sat and watched Hobson street passers by, and read the paper. You couldn't fit a large family in this place, that's for sure, but for a couple of people or a drop-by coffee, this place is worth seeking out.
