I have been a few times at this cafe and both times the staff were welcoming and truly amazing, their coffee is also very nice but one of the best part of the cafe has to be the daily delights they create from the tiny convection oven, I had their mocha scone the last time I went and it was amazing accompanied with my flat white.

Located at city centre this spot features natural woods and plenty of candlelight for a romantic mood, plus seating at a chef’s counter along with fine dining.
This little cafe is beautiful, such a warm and kind welcome by the team here, what a difference it makes when you feel so welcomed. The cafe is attached to the hotel but do not worry about this, enter the hotel and turn left and a warm friendly welcome will be waiting for you.
I had a decaf flat white with a dark chocolate scone which they warm up for you, the decaf was absolutely delicious and if you get the table by the window it's a perfect little place to watch the world go by. Also a few tables and chairs outside the entrance too as well as a little seating area opposite which is decorated vintage style or a modern bench and tables near the hotel reception. Everyone so welcoming, in the cafe and the hotel staff, always a pleasure to be here, thanks all for getting my morning off to such a wonderful start.
l love the café, lovely atmosphere and really nice staff. Great food ,always fresh and wholesome. Superb coffee and fantastic decor, their shop has a nice feel to it., Friendly and always pleasant.

Great friendly staff and awesome food and coffee when you need an easy fix. Have been coming back to these guys for the past couple of years and they treat everyone who comes through the door like part of the family.

For start they do have amazing coffee and muffin.
Their muffin is bake every morning and it's tasty.
Such a friendly customer service.
They call almost every customers by name and they know exactly what they orders.

Superb coffee comes alongside superb service. Often had my morning coffee there, baristas are all skilled and experienced. No matter who makes my coffee, taste is always good.

This cafe is so cute. To get in there you need to walk through the doors of the hotel!
The ham and cheese croissant was delicious and the hot chocolate as well. The place is small and cozy. The people working there are very nice as well.
I'll get back at some point to try more. They have an interesting variety of sandwiches and sweet treats.

I had not have such a good coffee in a long time and the ham and cheese croissant was divine: thin ham and flaky and buttery pastry.
My husband loved the breakfast roll so much that I went for a second one.

A quaint coffee shop in the Auckland City Hotel...I only had time for a bacon, cheese and fresh thyme scone - with a bit of New Zealand butter and an Americano. The most savory and moist scone ever! Very pleasant and quick service. The space is tiny and they make due with what they have. If you miss the doorway they have an take away window on the street. Multiple awards displayed on their wall by TripAdvisor too.

Staff is very responsive, energetic and upbeat this is what most coffee lovers like first thing in the morning. only thing that drove me back to this coffee shop was a memory of few months ago that the staff there was really very pleasant and during a stressful morning it is better to have a smiley and energetic person with a nice background music serving you coffee than someone is rushing and stressed. Coffee and cakes are very good, there are only a couple of chairs to sit there but please has positive energy and ambiance is good, after spending a little time there I suggest walk on Hobson Street (turn left) toward city centre and you will have a great view of sky tower.
A very nice tiny cafe inside the lobby of Auckland City Hotel. I enjoyed a beautiful breakfast here, just after my check out. It is a lively place with a diversity of local people that make you feel the atmosphere of the city. I recommend the delicious low carb chicken wrap and the blueberry loaf. Was more than full after that. A special thanks to the barrister who served my flat white in a porcelain cup instead of the usual paper cup🙂.
