We came by to try their unlimited dumpling offer. It didn't require everyone on the table to do it which made it better for those not wanting dumplings. We did book beforehand online which made it easy. They also gave a reminder closer to the day.
The bar is quite big with a smaller dining area in the back.
The dumplings were alright. They had three different ones, boiled pork, steamed shrimp and fried mushroom ones, ?You start off with two of each then you order more as you want. I quite liked the mushroom one and through the shrimp one was a bit too peppery. It was a nice meal, exactly as advertised.

Great atmosphere and views of the bays, especially in the summer! Good menu options. The Land Board is delicious and good for a few people to share!
loved it on a chilly winters arvo. nice warm bar area, couple of my fav beers on tap. generous meals cooked to perfection. i had the scotch fillet cooked blue. it was absolutely bang on!! my friends pork belly was on point also. nice crackle and melt in your mouth pork. ohh and the garlic bread was to die for. can't wait to come back!
Great service and great food! Really loved our experience and was great for going with my 3 year old too 😊 Would definitely go again! We had the subs and they were delicious!
Great brunch menu. We were here after a great walk along the waterfront .You’ve got to try the kingfish omelet. Service is great , we’ll be back

we came here for breakfast on a sunny day and were quite impressed with the food. Though they ran out of sausages so we decided to go for poached eggs and salmon instead of regular english breakfast. Service was quick and staff is quite friendly . Coffee was little too strong for us but most places in Auckland have their own style of flat whites :)
Would love to come again and try different things !
Nice and relaxing pub. Came here on Saturday night so watch some sports and have a drink. Ended up ordering some dessert as well, the chocolate mousse was delicious!
Came here on one of those breakthrough sunny/overcast days in Auckland. The first sight of sun in a few days and everyone is out and about. This place started to fill up when we arrived for lunch. Not overly busy but there was a noticeable wait time. Came with people who had been before and recommended the Smoked Kahawai on Corn Fritters. Was really yum! Although the kitchen seemed flustered and rushed it hit the spot. Wanting to come back again to try the dish when they are on 🔥! It was an average experience as you could tell the staff weren't handling the peak time. So customer service lacked a little and two of our sides we ordered had been forgotten. Will come back though!

We had a work event there for approx 50 people. The quality of the food was amazing! Kayla who was mainly looking after the group was outstanding, attentive and very friendly ensuring we all had drinks or following up our orders with the bar even though they were very busy on a Friday night.
We have visited this local bar and restaurant a few times and have never been dissatisfied. On our recent visit, we went with a large group for a meal. We were put in a separate room, away from the rest of the bar which was nice because the bar was noisy. The room seemed recently renovated and had a lovely atmosphere. The menu has appeared to have been updated recently. From the food that my table got, I was pleasantly surprised at the presentation and quality of the meals. Everything was very big too.
I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a bite to eat, a drink, or a sit-down meal. Its location on the waterfront allows you to sit outside and view the ocean if you wish, or have a more private dinner. My main criticism would just come around the noise level inside.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch on a sunny November Saturday at Moreton’s in St Heliers. The food was exactly what we were looking for and the table outside, with a view of the ocean, was simply great. The real highlight of our lunch was our server Ella. She made helpful suggestions about the drinks and the menu and went the extra mile for us, all with a warm smile. Cheers Ella.

The best service we've had in na eatery in a long time, manager was friendly and was attentive to our needs. We had 3 kids and he made sure we were well looked after. Food was good too, will definitely come back here

Tasty food, reasonable price, comfy high seating with a panorama view to the sea and Rangitoto Island! A perfect spot for a sea breeze lunch.
