Curry Master is the best Indian Restaurant in Birkenhead hands down, possibly on the Shore. We eat in and take away frequently and it is delicious. Never been disappointed!
Most delicious butter chicken on the north shore!! Great level of spice and herbs. Top notch garlic naan too. Always get the grab one vouchers when we see them.
Best Indian cuisine we’ve had! Although we’d rather have chicken thighs pieces instead of chicken breast as the breast tend to get dry in Curry’s. customer service was lovely! Even though the lady who took my order missed out an extra butter chicken but they took prompt actions and were not rude at all! 10/10 will be going back!!
Bought butter chicken and chicken kadhai - good sauce to chicken ratio. Went with $29 for 2 special. Overall good meal and glad it had good patronage tonight.
Ordered Uber eats from here and was not disappointed! The chicken korma and butter nan were amazing! I would highly recommend! They’re also fairly priced for the quality of the food! Ordered twice this week from here because it was so good.
The Curry House is the perfect place for a small group. We went there last night and had a fantastic meal of 4 authentic Indian dishes. The service excellent and prices very reasonable. food was delicious, the service was excellent, the restaurant was cosy and nicely decorated. It would be one of the best Indian restaurants I have been to!! I thoroughly recommend you go there!! Barbara Rigg
Been here 3 or 4 times and every time food has been delicious. Wife said butter chicken was a bit too sweet but I don’t eat that. Starter large portions are huge and reasonably priced. They have a few ‘meal for 2’ type combos that are good value. Staff are very friendly and checkup to make sure all is well. Medium spice level was perfect for me (I sometimes like hot, sometimes medium).
The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was friendly. The portions were pretty generous too. We went on a Friday night and the atmosphere was pretty good too.
We dined at Curry Master on Saturday with friends. All of our meals were delicious with generous servings. This restaurant has great casual ambiance with tasteful, appealing decor. The service was excellent with friendly staff and no long waits. We'd highly recommend this restaurant and will be definitely returning soon!
We have dinned here on numerous occasions since change of ownership in June. Their tandoori chicken is superb as they have a charcoal tandor. We are regulars at various Indian restaurants on the North Shore and claim the Curry Master to be one of the best (if not the best). Family operated and the food is always fresh, tasty and tendor. Highly recommended!
Great staff, loved the bread suggestion to match my dinner, juicy and well rounded flavours, totally recommended, for sure I'll be back again and again.

By far the best place in North Shore or even Auckland for Authentic Indian food. We have been to this place more than a dozen times and every time we are impressed more than the time before. Food is at the best price and the taste is to die for.
This is one of the yummiest Indian restaurants I've come across. I have a sensitive tummy but I never had issues after eating from here which means they're not using any funny ingredients.
Their chicken tikka masala, dal tadka, tandoori chicken among other things are brilliant. I'll keep ordering 😃
Ordered Uber eats from this place, I got the lamb korma. LET ME TELL YOU, that korma was the best fkn korma I’ve ever had! My mum has been raving about this place, I finally got to try it :) Did not disappoint. I’ve ordered curries from around Auckland, this one by far has me all the way fkd up 🤤 10/10 🤌🏽 Made with love ☺️
Shared 3 superb Indian dishes with friends at this cozy restaurant. A definite must for lovers of spicy cuisine and good service. Will be visiting again when in the area.
Brilliant Murg Makhni full of flavour and plenty of it. Cheese and garlic naan was very good light and fluffy. Staff were friendly and food was ready quickly. P

Super tasty food. Like damn. Really recommend the veg platter as a starter for 2 before jumping into the curry. An amazing goat curry and not too pricy. Also staff where super friendly and checked in to make sure all the food was good.
It’s a decent place for Indian takeaway. Dining in experience could be improved. There was a bit of smoke when we came in, luckily it settled down. Service is good and the food is better than your usual Indian place. Lots of options on the menu and I loved the mixed naan bread selection for us to try out different ones in one go, made ordering easier. Had the Gulab Jamun for dessert and was very satisfied with it. Definitely is value for money.
Update : Takeaway recently as of Nov 2020 was perfect. Not sure what has changed here but the dal makhani was scrumptious and nicely complimented by cheese naans.
Ordered the lamb madras (medium hot) and the chicken biryani (medium) for takeaway. Madras was good and the biryani was really good. Like it made my mood better because of how yummy it was.
