We recently visited Jervois Road Wine Bar with our friends. We spent a great Sunday afternoon here listening to live music, received great attentive service and enjoyed very tasty food. Their cocktails were so good! We would highly recommend that you visit and enjoy their hospitality too!

Magnificent Steak! They would even show you the meat slice before they cook it. This is where I tasted one of the best steaks in New Zealand.

Benajmin and Barman Permjit are awesome. they are well focus, friendly nature with good knowledge, simply they are doing excellent job. Specially we love this place for sunday music. We are almost coming here since it open. We recommend this place to everyone.
I believe this bar and Dida's are the best in town to having huge selection of wines.
We had been there yesterday for live music. We have been there few times before as well. Such a nice venue close to us. Huge variety of wines and beers available Love the place and table service is damn good. Staff is really friendly and knowledgeable.

I often make comment in my reviews about wine lists, and how they could do with a bit more diversity... But not here!
Admittedly this is a wine bar, and it should have a better variety, but the options here really are exceptional. And it is made better thanks to the Coravin wine system that they have, allowing some less common and more wonderful wines to be available by the glass!
This is backed up with a short tapas style menu, which I found to be equally as good, and very complimentary for the wine. And let's not forget to mention that the atmosphere is also very relaxing and enjoyable - complete with live music even when I arrived.
Benjamin (the proprietor) is also a sommelier, and was more than happy to discuss all the great options to ensure the experience was just right.
I will definitely be visiting the Jervois Road Wine Bar & Kitchen again - but next time by Uber, so I can enjoy even more...
Love this bar! The location is perfect. Great tapas food! The drinks are very yummy! Staff are awesome too. Really thanks Permjeet the punjaabe guy always rocks, bean and other staff. The music is always good and gets everyone into a good mood 😊

Nice place for a date. The dining area at the far end is perfect if you want some quiet space away from bar area.
Food was 5 star. Not an exaggeration. Smelled good and tasted great. I enjoyed everything i ate. Forgot to take photos of starter coz it was that good i went straight into eating. Lol.
Been twice now and the staff are very welcoming and provide great service. Did the sharing meals for our small group and was tasty & delicious, cocktails were on point. RnB singer Stowers performed and was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G, will definitely keep returning with friends and family to enjoy.
I am currently sitting here at the table wondering how I have never heard of this place before. We found it from First Table which usually are fine but disappointing. I can tell you now I am not disappointed.
After the meal I had tonight I am positive there isn't anything you could order on the menu that wouldn't be absolutely impeccable. Very impressed and if I could fit more food in my belly, I would! This place is designed to have small plates. But the quality makes up for it for sure.

Good food, good vibe. We had heaps of space for our group of 7 and well lit, some places you have to use your torch to see the menu.
Good food, variety of options and special dishes. Very petty plating and a variety of cocktails and non alcoholic options.. Try the brisket or cheese board..
Good vibe, there was live music and dancing on the one side and a quieter dining area on the other. Book ahead so you get a nice seat for your group.
Benjamin and team was accomodating lovely and the birthday plate was appreciated. Thank you... we'll be back...
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!! Beautiful Live music sung by the amazing Thomas Stowers 🥂 Nice, cosy atmosphere inside on a cold wintery Friday night (July 21st). The heater was on outside also. Toilets were clean, all the staff did an excellent job. Well done everyone

Great food and service - We had both tacos (fish & chicken), calamari and some parmesan truffle chips - the blue cheese/aioli was something else! Staff we're lovely and friendly when explaining what the desert of the day was to my daughter. Would trade again 🔥
Wow. Sublime cocktail (mandarin /gin), tasty food - melt in your mouth lamb - and wonderful service. We have throughly enjoyed our evening and we’ll be coming back.
