Had the Degustation meal last night here with a friend which turned out to be a special Birthday Dinner. The staff professionalism in their attention to your needs as a dinner guest was completely on point, the food prepared by the Chefs from the kitchen were culinary peices of exquisite artwork creations that looked far too good to eat, we ate it all. I will most definitely return and try the rest of the menu options and the extensive wine list as well... Thank you for this indelible memory experience.
Went there last night for my birthday and absolutely loved it!! The food was amazing and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to have an extremely high quality meal, I couldn't fault a single dish! ( we had the degustation menu) Thank you guys for making my night perfect! Arrived this evening first table. Staff were professional and onto it. Courses arrived quickly and smoothly. The drinks were really nice and tasty. Ribeye, eye fillet, duck and fish mains all cooked perfectly. Flavours were sophisticated and delightful.
Entrees were very delicious. Loved the raw fish, scallops, mushrooms and risotto.
The desserts were fantastic. They even managed to make rhubarb taste delicious! Itโs something I donโt eat but I ate all of it.
It was perfect. Loved every bit of it. Great job guys. Must feel very good to be part of a restaurant like this.

Went to One Three Grill with my girlfriend for a relaxed Saturday dinner and at the end of the experience there is no words to describe it.
Everything was just perfect, from the costumer service (Claire done a terrific job), the atmosphere and off course the amazing food.
From the whitebait, the scallops, the eye fillet, the rib eye on the bone and the passion fruit mousse...all was simply sublime.
One of the best restaurants I've been in Auckland.

So god to have 5 star dining in the suburb. Everything was amaizng, the service was great and cool iPad menus with beer and wine matches. The food was superb and great quality. Very fresh and cooked to perfection. Would go back in a heart beat and reccomend to everyone.

I CAN FINALLY SAY I'VE BEEN TO One Tree Grill after all the rumours of how good this place is!
Appetiser we got the ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐๐ฎ๐ด๐ผ๐ป๐ถ๐ฎ๐ป ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ป and broooo thr prawns were cooked at perfection with the fresh sweetness lingering around your tongue!
Here we have the ๐๐ถ๐น๐ฑ ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐ถ๐๐ผ๐ป ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ผ and ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐ณ๐ถ๐ ๐น๐ฎ๐บ๐ฏ ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐น๐น๐ as the entree! The didnt expect the carpaccio was salted at the right degree of saltiness and with that dollop of duck parfait and pickled red onion I cried.
The lamb belly was a ted oily from the layer of fat ;) I love coriander by the way so if you do this is the dish for ya!
That ๐๐ฎ๐๐ธ๐ฒ'๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ ๐น๐ฎ๐บ๐ฏ ๐ฟ๐๐บ๐ฝ though! The dish may look simple but you have no idea how soft and tender that lamb is. It was literally the best lamb rump I had in my past 25 years. The ๐ฏ๐น๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ธ ๐๐ป๐ด๐๐ ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฏ ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ ๐ผ๐ป ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฏ๐ผ๐ป๐ฒ was cooked at medium as recommended by the chef and the beefyness taste was definitely there. A side ๐ฏ๐ผ๐ป๐ถ๐๐ผ ๐ฏ๐๐๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ด๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ป ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ป๐ would definitely do the trick!
Lastly, my heavenly ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐บ ๐ณ๐ฒ๐ถ๐ท๐ผ๐ฎ ๐ฐ๐น๐ฎ๐ณ๐ผ๐๐๐ถ๐ F M L. O MY. I was so speechless when I took my first bite! The pistachio white chocolte sauce was so light and that feijoa cake with feijoa compote I DIED. I turn into a beast when it comes to feijoas and I became a hulk when I had this dessert. Recommend 999/10. Lastly the ๐ฐ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ ๐ฏ๐ฟ๐๐น๐ฒ๐ฒ! I have no words after my feiojoa clafoutis so you can try it yourself HAHAHAHHA

One Tree Grill has been a favourite of mine for more than 2 decades and I would consider that this is my top 3 restaurants of all time.
One Tree Grill is a fantastic dining spot in Auckland that truly lives up to its reputation. The atmosphere is cozy, welcoming and intimate, with dim lighting and soft music that creates a romantic ambience. You just can't find fault with the service from start to finish. It is top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff that are happy to recommend dishes and offer their expertise.
The food is simply outstanding, with an impressive menu that includes both classic and innovative dishes. We had Pork Belly, Lamb rump & eye fillets for mains and every bit of food on each dishes are carefully presented to make the entire dining experience delightful.
The wine list (as well as their underfloor cellar) is also impressive, featuring a great selection of New Zealand and international wines.
Overall, One Tree Grill is a must-visit restaurant for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in Auckland.

We were in a side room (six of us), which meant we could relax and be our silly selves without annoying other patrons. Every meal was explained. I had a very pleasant meal here with my family. The staffs were attentive and the food was fabulous. The lamb was tender and the cheesecake was scrumptious.
My only wee bit of feedback is that the table could have been wiped between our courses, simply because it was full of breadcrumbs from the start of the mealโฆ
Best Restaurant in NZ! We had our wedding reception twice (family & friends separately) here at one tree grill because we could not think of any other place we wanted to be. Food was the BEST, service was AMAZING. We loved it and the guests loved it. Thank you to team one tree grill for making our special day more special and memorable! The food is delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly and the meals came quickly. While not a cheap night out, I'd highly recommend it if you're looking for something a bit special.

Food: We ordered the six course degustation. High quality with timely delivery between each course. The food was perfectly cooked and presented.
Service: Promptly greeted and seated upon arrival. All staff were very well presented and polite.
Atmosphere: Well presented and clean. Cosey, with each table having its own candle to top off the experience. Background music was enjoyable and not too loud for quiet conversation.
Fresh ingredients with sophisticated cooking technique that weaved all the right flavours together. I like how the right food energetic is put together, nothing was too cold or too hot, which sometimes can upset your digestive system despite the great taste. Meats were cooked to perfection, especially the rare steak (unfortunately no photo). The deserts were gobbled up so fast before any photography was taken place. The deconstructed cheese cake stood out as the full picture of delicious cake was able to come together when placed in the mouth. We would definitely come back!
I was so lucky to have my birthday dinner at One Tree Grill. It would be the best choice ever! I couldnโt count how many times we said โOh My God! Itโs so good!โ But we were so impressed by the rich flavor of every dish! Itโs amazing!! Thanks to the chef and the great service from every staff! Me and my colleagues had the pleasure of dining there last night. From the moment we walked in, we were treated as special guests, experienced amazing service from Tai with his knowledge of the food and wine list. The food was fabulous, we enjoyed scollap entrees, Duck, Eye fillets, short beef Rib all cooked perfectly, followed by some amazing desserts. Not a cheap eat but you don't mind when you get quality food and service. A great place to treat yourself and someone special.
