Ate here one June 23rd 2023. Food was pretty good for the price. Of course it’s not like home-cooked food but was decent. And a good price.
It was a bit sweet though, but everything else was good. And naan was nice and flaky. You can always assume if even the naan isn’t good then the rest of the food wouldn’t be but it was all good.

Stumbled across this little gem of a restaurant. I decided to order the 3 curry combo and I have to say it's been the best Indian food I've ever had! The naan couldn't have been more fluffy and the service was great! I loved it so much I came back again the next day for more!

Our 2nd time here as my boys wanted butter chicken. We ordered the combo meal which comes with naan bread and rice + drink, our meals were nice and hot as the new batch of butter chicken came out. Delicious meals, next time will try the other curry dishes.

Decent and affordable Indian cuisine in the centre of town. The lady at the counter was very professional, and I could see her calmly explain Indian dishes to some people who were new to it. I had the 2 dish veg option, and the Dhal and Chana were both great.

This is one of the best Indian meals we've ever had. The service was friendly. The price was good. And most importantly the meals were beautiful. So tasty! Best & freshest nahn bread too. Very impressed, we'll definitely be back and recommend :)

I purchased veg masala, take was really good. Quality and quantity was way better than expected. Good service, could not expect more at busy lunch hour. Will come again!!
One suggestion to the management, keep curries warmer than what is now so will stay warmer till its consumed.

Butter chicken and lamb masala is amazing and reasonably priced. Going for my third one some time today. 100% recommended (could be a little hotter though)

Ordered butter chicken with rice and naan bread. Taste of the curry is not as good as others in the market and the naan bread is stale and old. Not enough curry for the rice and bread but they refused to refill which is terrible!! Not a happy customer.

Beautiful little hidden gem of Auckland CBD. favorite place to get butter chicken, the staff are nice and friendly and asked if we wanted butter chicken sauce on our rice, I've never been to a place where they've said that, so extra and lovely. The taste of the butter chicken is slightly spicy which is really good, and also absolutely loved the samosas. Every time I'm in the city I've just got to grab some butter chicken from this place😊

This takeaway is not far from uni so my friends and I often come here around lunch. The deal for curry, naan, and a drink $13.99 is a very good price. Their veg korma is one of the best curries I've ever tasted... so full of flavour. Had another curry once before which wasn't half as nice. Customer service is average, nothing terrible but nothing special. Also seen birds flying around the place often.

Ordered the lamb rogan josh. Not sure why they leave the meat in such huge chunks but don't be fooled, you'll only get a few pieces.<br/><br/>Taste wise, the lamb was considerably tender. The curry itself was not bad but I've had better.<br/><br/>The portion was definitely a let down hence I give this place a 2.5/5

The vegetarian options are legit some of the best Indian food I've ever had. Had Masala and Korma curries, with puffy fresh hot naan bread, and couldn't stop raving to my girlfriend about it. Absolutely lovely, friendly service, too. Will be back soon!

This place is a part of a food court right below the Atrium Warehouse. The staff is very patient and guided us well. The prices are low for a store in the city centre and in comparison to other stores there. The food was good. It reminded me a lot of the Indian restaurants. I would have liked this place to have a full fledged Indian restaurant menu though.

the customer is average but the food is terrible no taste at all it was really bland, ordered chicken tikka it was more of a coloured red water as the gravy and the rice as well wasn't fresh. it seemed like to maximise their profit they just added hot water to increase the gravy and the chicken had no spices on it and was merely just boiled chicken in a red watery gravy. not going back there again.

This was NOT good. I absolutely can't stand mushy rice and this rice was overcooked to the point where I could mash it with a feather. The chicken in my korma was also overcooked and tough as a result. I think this food was just under the warmer all day and by 4pm it should have been binned rather than sold. Lesson learned.

Went here with friends for date night and we found numerous long dark hairs in our butter chicken meals!! Very disgusted and disappointing to say the least, we took our meals back where he just replaced them and to our shock found more hairs, did not offer a refund or an apology. Simply made up poor excuses, will not be going back.

I found the food and deal very nice!Their Student meal for $6.99 was a good one!No wonder why people line up at this counter,Their food was yummy and fresh.<br/>Sometimes it has happened with me that indian places serve you stale indian curries,But this place was not at all like that.Fresh and Hot!<br/>I tried their Chicken Tikka Masala,it had a nice punch of Spice and sweetness with it.A spicier and creamy version of Butter Chicken.I don't like my curries to be sweet but this tasted still yummy because it had a flavour of hot red chilli too.<br/>I would totally recommend people who want Indian food at a good deal and quantity.

The food was just wow! The lunch menu was incredible and so was the taste. SPICE OF INDIA has great taste and real value for money. $ 9 Curry choice of Naan, my favourite destination. Try Chicken Saagwala with Hot Bread.

Best butter chiken tikka masala and korma ever i have eaten. Service is very good. We ordered butte chiken on rice for my baby. She ate half of plate gravy was finished and i asked for more gravy the server gave me full bowl of gravy with some chiken. My favourite curry place👌🏻

We ordered chana masala (chole, bhature, dahi and pickle) and a veg thali (chole, rice, naan, veg subzi and dal makhani). The food & service was decent but not very great. For the price points, the food seems reasonable.<br/><br/>One can try Chalwa's that has authentic Indian food with Punjabi ambience.

Not the best butter chicken I have had but it isn't the worst either. For $11 you really can't complain too much; you get a naan and one choice of curry over rice.<br/><br/>They gave a generous amount of chicken which was awesome but the butter chicken in all honesty was a little bland.<br/><br/>For a quick lunch meal that isn't pricey, why not eat here?<br/><br/>Showstopper: Really attractive prices.<br/><br/>Overall Grade: B-

You cannot expect a good service but still worth tasting some of their curries. This place differs from other many food court Indians as its quality of the spice. Also not too much sugar in it. I especially recommend their Vindaloo series(chicken or lamb) to those hot spice lovers. Their butter chicken and chicken Tikka Masala for others. <br/>Try one of their combos if you want a good $ performance. The food court is open until 6pm but you should come earlier before some of the curry finish or they clear the food!

Awful. I purchased butter chicken and chicken korma. Both extremely creamy no flavour except this flavour in the food. Chicken was also not cooked properly which is shocking! When I took back the uncooked chicken their response was: " No one else has complained so there is nothing wrong with it, the chef thinks it fine so it is." Disgusted with the service, the person who served me did not even talk to me.
