A Yo when I'm in nz I go to the peach pit. The people are lovely and the food is fabstastic. If u like to dance it's the place to be. Try one of the fancy cocktails it made me feel so fancy. 5 stars.

Peach Pit is a hidden gem that inevitably is fated to become huge in the foodie scene in the near future, but for now it remains a hipster hotspot on K Road. Small, intimate and quirky, with wacky board games and awesome wait staff ready for some great banter.
The best way to describe the food is the most perfect cosmopolitan blend of cuisines you’ll come across. This is the epitome of the finest Auckland cuisine in its full melting pot of culture glory. Of course, because it’s quite a trendy place there are many spectacular vegetarian options.
Some favourite dishes would be the half cauliflower- cooked like a roast, covered in spices and carved up in satisfying hunks, the mapo tofu which overwhelmed the senses with flavour and heat and served with soft, pillowy steamed buns to balance the palate, and the eggplant topped with pine nuts, broad beans and a thick yogurt sauce, which was succulent and delightful.
The menu has changed since then, and the first time I went had the best dishes, but it is still probably my favourite new eatery in Auckland, I can’t recommend Peach Pit enough.
Had a great vegetarian meal here on a busy Saturday evening. The food was delicious and the service prompt and friendly. Will definitely come back again.
Warm, mellow and welcoming, loved the service... personable but not to 'in your face'. Food was magnificent... quirky, tasty and filling. Authentic, lovely place...very pleased to have had the pleasure to have dined here.
Good selection of vege dishes to share, nice rich sauces, reasonable priced. Excellent selection of craft beers and wines. Good atmosphere, even better when the noisy children left. Easy to get a table, excellent service.
Great food and great cocktails! Everything was cooked amazingly! This place is so quirky and creative! And surprisingly all good was vego and as a meat eater I still left happy!
Peach Pit is a cozy little boutique restaurant with some very experimental food. Their waiters are super friendly, the food is also spot on.
I wish they have a real menu however, so It was easier to comprehend.
Top notch staff who always have time for you. Great food to share, that way you get to try more dishes. Recommend the cocktail specials and the wings. Always perfectly cooked
Been super excited to try this place for awhile! We ordered the lamb shoulder, bone marrow and wontons, chicken wings and some fries. So stoked with everything we got. All packed with flavour, honestly delicious! Ordered combinations I wouldn't have thought would work but they were super good.
Service was up to par, nice friendly waiter and didn't feel rushed or overlooked.
Only thing I would have to say is I didn't realise their menu constantly changes, so I had amped myself up for some dishes from the Zomato menu that weren't actually available anymore. But hardly a negative!

If you've not been here before - you're totally missing out on one of the coolest eatery bars (more of a Ponsonby than K Road vibe, I must say!), tasty food (love love love their sticky chicken wings) , delicious cocktails, friendly service (they were so kind and patient in explaining which options were gluten-free) - I honestly can't fault this place.
We ordered 4-5 plates to share for just two people (such greedy pigs, I know!) + a juice + a cocktail = the bill came to
this place ROCKS.
the best fries the best food the best atmosphere the best staff. its one of the only places i LOVE to give my money to the staff. i want to eat everything all the time and i dream about the braised pork belly pancake (that they have sadly taken off their menu) but i rekon im gonna start a petition for them to bring it back.
i think ive tried everything on the menu as i come here at least once a week for a sav and a meal and its never let me down.
top 4 for me are the pork belly pancake, salt n pepper tofu, the homemade flatbread and THIS chicken SKEWER WITH cheese n bacon mayo and pickled cabbage oh man IM DROOLIN NOW
also if you sit outside the entertainment is great cause kroad is bloody hectic.
I love everything about this place. Great vibe, great drinks, great food. Everything is delicious & so many vegan and vego options. Cauliflower and the green salad were a hit, and I also loved the bread with the chunks of garlic.
An extensive natural wine selection along with knowledgeable, welcoming and enthusiastic staff in a cosy, unassuming venue. We didn't try the food this time but will in future, menu was largely plant based and looked delightful. Board games and funky music. A little gem.
What a great cozy place to hangout with your friends or your special one. I love the fact the owner is so friendly, caring. He did ask me to make sure the cocktails is alright. He spend time to explain all the drink. This is how great customer service are.

The bar doesn't look like all that much, but their food (mostly vegan/veg which I dig) is so good and reasonbly priced. Just order a bunch of different dishes to share with a few people - it isn't structured into entrees and mains. Super interesting combinations of ingredients and flavours - vegan food that really holds its own. Happy hour is from 5-7pm where they have $6 drinks!
A somewhat hidden gem (as it is unassuming from the street). Great for vegans/ vegetarians. The menu is small but every single dish is done very well and is reasonably priced considering the quality.
The menu is ideal for sharing so it great for groups, but be prepared for a wait as it is very popular and can be quite busy.
There is also an extensive wine list and the staff are knowledgeable and happy to recommend/ tailor suggestions for you.
My favourtie part of Peach Pit is the board games, creating a really cosy, homely feel to the place. It's like you're in your own living room, except the music and drinks are much better 😅
The food were so yummy! I had tofu and prawn toast.
