Tonight we ordered the lamb doner kebab and a mixed kebab. Also some delicious baklava.
When I called, the man I spoke to on the other end of the line (I forgot to get his name!) was warm and friendly. He listened carefully to my order and also checked if we had any allergies.
The food was ready quickly and just an absolute treat to eat. The kebabs were packed generously with meat and fillings. And the baklava, crispy and just the right amount of sweet.
We will be regulars every week, absolutely outstanding!

I was a bit hesitant at first to come back here, because the previous experience was not so good. Months ago I bought a chicken on salads, the chicken meat and vegetables were stale, not fresh. Today I bought the same dish again, unexpectedly, the kebab is delicious, the chicken meat and vegetables are really fresh. Looks like it has changed owners. If the taste, portion and freshness is consistent, I will definitely come back. Now i would say, this is the best kebab in North Shore.

My boyfriend and I love the food from here, the Kebabs are so delicious - a very generous sized portion and wonderful friendly service from all staff! Also Kebabs on Rice is amazing so tasty also. The shop is very clean too. We have become regular customers - I encourage you to also go to Lover's Corner you won't regret it. 👍☺️

Excellent taste and great customer service. Very much impressed from their hygienic practices in the restaurant. Stopped here for a snack on our way back to the Auckland City. Kebab was marvaleous. Would visit again if in the area. Prices are economical.

Good filling meal, I had medium lamb on rice and was nice, however the salad was great. It fresh and delicious even an olive which I thought was different yum. Will try chicken next time hopefully I can give a 5 star then. Completely recommended take away.

We have always had the man serving us, he is always very personable and gives great service. We had Lamb donor kebab about 3 weeks ago, it was hot, good quality, tasted good, so nice in fact we are going back tonight to repeat the same order. Thoroughly recommend.

Such a shame used to love this place. But have been here on multiple occasions recently and have had the same woman mess up our order in multiple different ways each time, she always argues and never fixes the problem. Really sad as this was one of our favourite places to go

Best takeaway in Northcross. Nothing beats a Halal Snack Pack with the Holy trinity sauce combo BBQ, Hot chilli and Mayo/Garlic sauce. Always good customer service as well.

Called in here tonight for a easy simple takeaway dinner. Should have taken my grandmothers advice. Alway look how busy the place is. Lots of cars parked outside and people inside = good. No people= not so good. Lovers Corner was empty but living in the area thought would give it a go. Should have kept to that advice. Ordered the rice and mixed meat - Chicken and lamb takeaway. <br/>Service was good and when got home presentation of meal great BUT when got to eat, it all went bad. Don't enjoy and expect gristle in lamb and bits of bone in the chicken pieces. Disappointing. Why do people get the basics wrong?

A very disappointing experience at Kebab Lovers in Northcross. The customer service was so bad that I had to ask for my money back. Instead of making my order the owner was arguing in front of me about an employees wages, which was embarrassing for me and the employee. When asked when my order may be ready, after 10 minutes of waiting, I was told that he had to wait for the oil to heat up first to cook the fries. I was also not told about a combo deal which was less expensive than what I was charged, for basically the same order that I requested. I will not be returning to that shop again.

The guy behind the counter is always super nice. Kebabs are just average though. The sauces are a bit too much and I often find the bottom of my kebabs drenched.

After having a very poor ordering experience from Kebab Serai, I decided to head to Lovers Corner. This is honestly one of the most fantasticly welcoming and delicious kebab joints around.<br/><br/>Not only did they provide chip dish options but also provided a Satay option which was not on the menu!<br/><br/>Food is a tad more expensive but well worth it for the fantastic meal!<br/><br/>I hope they iron out some of the other complaints on here to become one of the go to places.<br/><br/>Good luck.

The main thing i don't like is that they have pre selected sauces for your meals. If you want any other out of the selection there is a charge. Most places its your choice of 3 sauces than a small charge. So personally i do not like that. Food is good on the whole as i have been here a few times. But i have really only been here because it is convenient.

We have been living in Torbay for the last 5 years - we have ordered takeaways from Lovers Corner over this time.<br/>I have found them to be friendly, clean and great tasting food.<br/>Even after a mix up one time they were more than happy to make the changes without a fuss.<br/>We will continue to use Lovers Corner while still living in the area.

I came here this evening with my daughter as we were looking for something fast, cheap and most importantly healthy.<br/>We ordered the chicken shawerma and the chicken salad.<br/>The orders came out fast, the salad was delicious,the chicken perfect and the dressing was zesty and fresh.<br/>The salad was the perfect size.<br/>The shawerma was huge, fresh and very good.<br/>The hummus that came with both dishes had a great consistency,i could eat more!<br/>They had free hot cardamon tea that came in nice traditional Turkish glasses. We ordered some baklava,it was perfect, not too sweet and went well with the tea.<br/>We will definitely be going back soon.<br/>Our visit was very satisfactory, staff were happy and friendly.

I came to Lover's Corner after a friend recommended it. I don't know why they liked it so much. The restaurant inside had flies, and they had no air conditioning. We decided to sit outside as it was only slightly cooler, but we found that our table had not been cleaned, and there were no serviettes outside.<br/><br/>My partner and I ordered two chicken & lamb kebabs and some bread and hummus dip. The bread and hummus was served on a wooden board and was quite lovely (nice touch, hence the extra star) so I thought the rest of the food was going to be good too. However, the kebab I ate was dry and bland. It was as if the chicken had been cooked for far too long, and I could barely taste the lamb. There was too much salad mine, and I could barely taste any sauce, even though there were supposedly three kinds. The only good thought that crossed my mind was, "Well, at least this kebab doesn't seem to be ridden with fat and salt." Still, I want my food to be at least tasty.<br/><br/>Overall, my visit was not satisfactory. I expected more; not the world; but more. I've had much better kebabs, ones that I won't be getting from here any time in the near future.

I also never write reviews but feel I had to after eating here. I ordered a chicken and rice $14.00 quite steep. I did not get asked what sauce or salad I wanted just got given what I guess was chili sauce and a white sauce of some description. The male and female working there seemed to argue the whole time and the guy kept yawning over the food. And if you couldn't guess it was the worst chicken and rice Ive ever had.

I'm not a person to write reviews but on this occasion I had no choice. This has to be the worst kebab I have ever had in my life!!!! We ordered 4 lamb kebabs, all of which had chewy inedible meat, average salad, no flavour wrapped in a chewy pita. At $11 something per kebab, save your money and have cheese on toast at home! <br/>This place will close itself down in 6 months at this rate!!!
