I've been coming here for breakfast since my first time in Auckland (back in 2016). I travel from U.S. to N.Z. about 4 or 5 times a year for work. I love this little "hole in the wall". Traditional English breakfast and delicious coffee. It's one block from beautiful Albert Park.

This is a wonderful cafe. Droppd by in the late morning after landing in Auckland for a little pick me up. Cappuccino was excelent, and the brownie was fantastic. Nice chill / easy vibes of the cafe, and I enjoyed relaxing for a few moments.

Really nice family run place. They were really helpful in getting me a cable so I could charge my phone and the coffee (cappuccino) I got was so delicious, I had two.
I didn’t eat here so can’t comment on the food, so this 5/5 is for their customer service and the coffee!!

Nice location, just off Queen St and in the middle of the city. Very convenient if you are on foot, not convenient if you are driving. It was quite busy, so the staff were friendly but efficient. The coffee was good and the coconut muffin tasted great. It lacked the ultra-cool vibe of other inner city cafes.

I like this place, carrot cake, coconut cake is always nice and fresh. Don't like the seats outside. All the chair legs are lost in shape. Dosent stand straight anymore😂😂 but nice coffee and food.

Me and my Mum have been staying in Auckland and have eaten here twice in a row because its so good!! The eggs bene with bacon is to die for and my Mum thoroughly enjoyed her full breakfast!! The staff are so friendly and so polite and their coffee art is so so cute! I will be having breakfast here every time I stay in Auckland now. One of the highlights of our trip!!

The day I visited Sierra was a great comfort to me cos I was feeling lost and down. The shop was warm and welcoming. The girl who served me was so lovely. My food was yummy I had a flat white and a ham n cheese croissant. Yummy cabinet food. I remember this clearly. I needed to review this little gem properly 😊

I don’t like the service, i asked someone in the counter if they do have veg panini and she said all panini aren’t available but in the fridge they do have. (I believed in her cos like i was looking in the front menu) What she recommend was the chunky veg soup and it taste really horrible.. i didnt like it really, i’m so unsatisfied.

Had breakfast here this morning and was so disappointed. I ordered scrambled eggs, bacon with mushrooms and tomatoes on toast. The whole dish was oily. The bacon was not proper strips or rashers of bacon - they were round processed things that looked like rounds of ham. the mushrooms were nice. The bread was white and the butter was half melted in the little container and half liquid. The plate was thrown together with no thought to presentation. The cabinet food looked quite nice but overall I felt the place needed a good clean up. I don't think I will go back there.

Ordered two cups of coffee here because Starbucks line was too long. Sierra was just around the corner. <br/><br/>Unfortunately not only was the price similar to Starbucks. Staff is very friendly. It's nice to sit outside when the weather is fine as there is not much traffic. The food is average though, not what I would call delicious but not bad either. My toasted sandwich was quite dry, the ham not very tasty. It's for sure not my favorite Cafe when I want to have something yummy to eat but it's ok when you just wanna have a bite the eat. I think the opening hours are quite good if you wanna go out for breakfast on the weekend.

It’s almost the corner spot at the street. I ordered their day’s special - big breakfast with a coffee! The breakfast was just about OK, bacon had too much salt and overall was too oily!! Bread, eggs and coffee were the saviours. I didn’t find it value for money.

I was impressed by the nice service when I step in.<br/><br/>Ordered a large flat white and a walnut tart for my lunch.<br/><br/>Unfortunately, the coffee was too plain, and they left too much room in the cup which was not a proper large size for me.<br/><br/>The walnut tart was not bad. Sweet& gooey!

Had egg Benedict with salmon here, taste average. The egg is cooked nicely medium. But salmon tastes old n salty. Sauce is too much salt in it. Bread is wet coz they didn't remove the water on surface of salmon.<br/><br/>Btw I had my lunch on outside area. They didn't put the table on flat ground so it's not stable while we eating.<br/><br/>

This was a nice and cozy little cafe at the corner of Lorne street. I got the pancakes, and the portion was average but I was really really full afterwords which is good. The pancake were really nice and fluffy and really good in general with the banana however, the syrup was a tad little too sweet for my liking especially early in the morning. My friend had gotten the ravioli and the bit that I tasted was amazing so I will definitely be ordering that one next time I go in!<br/><br/>Overall, the cafe was average compared to some others I've been to but service was very friendly and nice.

Poor Cafe. The menu looked good initially and looked like most other cafes in town. But in terms of quality, the cafe is bad. I ordered an Egg Benedict and a coffee. The bread used was hard and cold. The coffee was okay. The Ambience wasn't that great.

we were looking for another place but found this one on the way. walked in without much enthusiasm but found everything much to our liking. chai latte was fantastic! we asked what cake was the best - friendly staff member suggested cheesecake - he wasnt wrong. if you're not looking for anything gourmet or fancy, just nice, this is it.

Me and a friend of mine have been here around twice and I tried their cabinet food the first time and their iced coffee the next. One thing to notice is the incredibly friendly service. The people are very chirpy and welcoming! The place is also clean and well maintained. The vibe's quite dull tho and the food is nothing really out of the ordinary. I reckon its more worth dropping into some of the neighboring cafes around the block for better value.

We came here as it was late in the afternoon and most of the cafes were closed.<br/><br/>The place was absolutely lovely. The ladies at the counter were super friendly, and the price was better than other cafes on Lorne street :)<br/><br/>Unfortunately my Vienna cafe were more on the sour side, but I know there are some people that prefer that. And the walnut pie was absolutely delicious.<br/><br/>Will definitely visit again :)

Altough Sierra Coffe says a lot about their coffee, I had it and I can say: that's no good.<br/><br/>I had an spresso there, and it was burned and sour. Couldn't finish it.<br/><br/>The place is also a little messy and the seats are not comfortable.<br/><br/>There was only one positive point: the strawberry cheesecake was good, and the price fair.

The man at the counter is so lovely!!!! That's the first thing I noticed, he's so friendly and funny! We looked at the menu but didn't have wedges so we asked and it turns out they do!<br/>They were fresh, hot and crispy! So yummy :) am excited to come back and try other food! i have nothing but good expectations

It's a pretty quiet cafe, they also have wifi and serve real fruit strawberry ice cream in summer. They sometimes have $10 breakfast deals- i'm just not sure if they still have it but you should check it out! The size of the servings is such a good deal for its price, the bacon was nice too! I really like the calming atmosphere of the cafe. The staff are very friendly and always smiling. In terms of food, I recommend the pesto pasta and what I really like about the dish is that they add a small plate of cheese of the side.

Went here with my mates looking for a good breakfast was extremely disappointed with the service. It took about 20 minutes for my friend to receive an orange juice he ordered despite being told it was coming multiple times. There were only about 2 other customers in the store. Was plenty of staff not busy. The coffee I ordered was disgusting and worst I've ever tasted and came 10 minutes late , food felt chewy and stale. Do not recommend staff are very poor and and overall product is a rip off.

Lots of local competition but this is the one I keep coming back to. Great coffee, run by very friendly people and a pleasantly quirky building. Worth looking out for.
