This is a great little cafe. Very handy for hospital visits and I'm often passing for work. Lovely people. Nice coffee.
Stop by if I ever need a hit of sugar. They have a really nice caramel slice which has a thick caramel over a tasty base topped with chocolate. They also have a light and dark brownie which comes a close second.
The cabinet by the counter shows you the items on offer and they also have pies (both int he cabinet and the warmers behind the counter) which are quite tasty and nice.
There are a few tables around but they generally fit a couple of people. Usually just take away. Nice food and service.
Baristas trained by the guys who make Story coffee, so their coffee is the best around that area. Great selection of food, my fav is the creamy chicken ciabatta, theres usually 5 min parking available any time so easy to pick up my morning coffee on the way to work
For a deli, there is not that much meat but an extremely diverse range of quiches and vegetarian friendly options. Super affordable too. I grabbed a coffee and lasagne to go for breakfast. Then, later on that day, I went back for the pumpkin tart. The tart was savoury and filled with cashews and stuff. Will definitely make this a regular spot.
The autumn nut slice is worth driving from out of Auckland for...The cakes are also very nice. I have been a loyal customer over many years and think the staff are fab.
Quite possibly the best vegetarian panini I've ever had. Savoury scone wasn't too shabby either. Fantastic to have great food so close to the hospital.
Great hot chocolates and their almond croissant is very good!

This cafe is the best in Grafton and the best spot when you go to visit someone in the hospital.
They do the best pies and a killer coffee.

Edit: Almond croissant was dry but I did get it at the end of the day.
I had just received news that angered me, decided to go find some food, I came into this place and one of the sandwich’s instantly caught my eye. I approached the counter and the staff were super lovely and kind and it brightened my day and made me feel much better from when I first walked in.
Needless to say the sandwiches and hot chocolates are awesome from these guys

Early morning Cafe with great coffee shot, daily muffins and scones, fresh home made baking and cooking, have plenty of option for sandwiches, salads, quiches, pies, and amazing sweet selection.

Convenient location, opposite the hospital. I always get a Rosemary lamb pie as it's always amazing. Coffee is good too. And staff are very very friendly. Keep in mind that it's small and only has five tables i think (a couple outdoors). Highly recommend.
