As always with my ratings, if nothing really put me off, then I see no reason not to give 5 stars. I was walking back down Queen St towards the harbour and was feeling quite peckish, then the curry aroma as I passed their open door made me stop mid-stride. I wish their menus were a bit more consolidated in that I completely missed out on a deal or two that in hindsight I saw on the opposite wall and outside on the window. But either way, I sat down for a quick lunch bite at what I think is a reasonable price, maybe dollar less would be more enticing, but good nonetheless. For eating in, the presentation was pretty clean too (see pics), and they'll clean up your plates once you leave. Garlic Naan was fantastic as was fluffy all through instead of being over done and crunchy. Also, there aren't too many protein and curry varieties available, but still good. The batata vada fried balls I thought would be interesting but were cold all through, so maybe ask them to reheat it.

They have HOT butter chicken which you don't see often and it is delicious. The cuts of meat are good, not gristly, and the naan is made fresh and it's delicious too. It's the best Indian Curry at a foodcourt I've seen anywhere.

Good always nice and hot, not too spicy but not sugary like most of the butter chicken from malls taste these days. Presentation was beautiful I feel its a bit on the small side but other then that everything was great. Husband buys from here pretty much everyday and keeps bugging me to write a review :P. Garlic naan is the bomb too.

This restaurant is at the back of the food court on the bottom floor where Event cinemas is based. I have visited twice and both curries I got were nicely done. The seating area is beside it although you are sharing with all the other restaurants. It's reasonably cheap for Auckland and it does the job.

Good value. $13.40 for a 2 curry large with rice including naan. Curries are not made fresh ( in a bay Marie) but naan is . Taste is ok and quick service if you are in a hurry. Can eat in or takeaway. 3 stars for taste and 5 for value so 4 overall

Pretty legit, cheap little Indian place. Not much seating but meals are fast and surprisingly tasty. The samosa Chaat is a real highlight and a great cheap lunch option. Wish more places sold this

Basmati rice, naan bread and butter chicken were tasty. Was expecting the sauce to be creamier but it was still good. Naan bread was brushed with olive oil so that made it better.

For the price of $13.50 , The Thali set meal is wonderful... comprising of 3 curries, rice, naan, raita, chutney and poppadom... Which is very reasonable... The taste quality is the best when it comes food court eateries...

I visited this place twice last week and both the times i got their lamb biryani. The first time it tasted really good which made me to back to them and get disappointed. The second i had their biryani, it was watery and the rice and meat was not cooked properly. Tasted yuck!

Today we came here for launch and we ordered non veg thali with no rice so we get 2 nan with three curries. The nan which they have given was so cold and called steal nan and we ask for fresh nan and they replaced it as well. As we ordered lamb briyani as well the guy who takes order told me that we have to wait for 5 min for briyani and we wait for it after 10 min also they didn't provide the briyani and i ask at the counter and they give us. The briyani which we got was full burnt and no taste. I haven't had this type of briyani from which i suffer from stomach problem due to unhygienic food. We left the briyani and move out from there. I willnot suggest anyone to try those unhygienic and worst food . The worst launch ever.. 😡😡😡😡

Ordered a vegetarian thali and must say just looking at the quantity of serving filled my stomach. Munching on it felt just like having a thali in India 😍, Worth the money. Easy on pocket as well. Best for students after a hard day at uni or work. I recommend it strongly. great work guys.

This place is located in the food court. The ambience is typical of a food court. The quality of food is fair. The staff are overall communicative.
