As always with my ratings, if nothing really put me off, then I see no reason not to give 5 stars. I was walking back down Queen St towards the harbour and was feeling quite peckish, then the curry aroma as I passed their open door made me stop mid-stride. I wish their menus were a bit more consolidated in that I completely missed out on a deal or two that in hindsight I saw on the opposite wall and outside on the window. But either way, I sat down for a quick lunch bite at what I think is a reasonable price, maybe dollar less would be more enticing, but good nonetheless. For eating in, the presentation was pretty clean too (see pics), and they'll clean up your plates once you leave. Garlic Naan was fantastic as was fluffy all through instead of being over done and crunchy. Also, there aren't too many protein and curry varieties available, but still good. The batata vada fried balls I thought would be interesting but were cold all through, so maybe ask them to reheat it.
They have HOT butter chicken which you don't see often and it is delicious. The cuts of meat are good, not gristly, and the naan is made fresh and it's delicious too. It's the best Indian Curry at a foodcourt I've seen anywhere.
Good always nice and hot, not too spicy but not sugary like most of the butter chicken from malls taste these days. Presentation was beautiful I feel its a bit on the small side but other then that everything was great. Husband buys from here pretty much everyday and keeps bugging me to write a review :P. Garlic naan is the bomb too.
