We come here very often, for family dinners and celebrations! The staff are always incredibly friendly (although quite loud but that’s the Cantonese way!) and attentive.
Only got photos of a few of the dishes (will be sure to get more next time) but everything is always very tasty - lives up to the name!
This place is warm, welcoming, and familiar, and that’s why I love it and will keep returning.
I've only ever been to this restaurant on Fri or Sat evenings & it is always packed, so I suggest you book a table if you would like to eat here, to be safe. We usually have the peking duck, prawn balls, fried green beans, plus other dishes but those 3 are always ordered with the meals. If you order the peking duck, I suggest you ask for more sauce as the initial amount provided is usually not enough. The food itself are all tasty but this can be quite hit & miss. I have been to this restaurant for over 2 years now; the food when I first tried this restaurant was definitely much better than it is now. The restaurant itself is a bit dated & could do with a bit of an upgrade. As for the service, expect basic service; ie you will get your order taken, food serve, etc. but don't expect anything more. I have learnt to help myself to water, fork/spoon for the kids, etc rather than ask the wait staff, especially when some of them can barely speak English. Price-wise, this place is quite reasonably priced & you do get quite a lot of food for what you pay so I suggest you go there with a very empty belly. We always have food to take home for the next day's lunch/dinner.
The place is loud (like most Chinese restaurants) and their service is average. However, the food is great! It's my family's favourite Chinese restaurant.
Good standard Cantonese cuisine. Nothing that's going to blow your socks off. But the food is tasty and cooked well. Go there for the food not the surroundings.
My Friday night out in this place with my mates every Friday. Only place we can hang out till after closing time. Very authentic Chinese food.
Dined for dinner here with family, this has been a regular place for us to grab some really good dishes!
We ordered deep fried stuffed tofu, lobster with yee mein, with stir fried Chinese vegetables.
Decent sized portions, reasonably priced. We come here and always satisfied with our meal.
Tofu was generously served with sauce that complimented well with the tofu, stuffed with crab meat. Nicely deep fried, very tasty dish.
The lobster was a little on the tougher side this time, but still just as delicious! Complimented well with the noodles.
Chinese vegetables (Chinese Okra) was really well made, nicely al dente favourite Chinese vegetable dish!
I would recommend getting a booking for this restaurant it does get very busy with good reason, does excellent sized portions for great value. Staff are attentive despite being rushed off their feet serving tables.
Definitely will be back for more!
Friendly fast and tasty!
My mates favorite place. Skeptical on entry, but the service was friendly, the food was made fast, and fresh.
Good Cantonese food is you are out east!
Free entry soup and dessert soup. If you're after fine dining, this is not the place. If your after a mean munchies or hangover feed. This is the place!

Like most Chinese restaurants, expect big portions and good value for money. For 3 people, we ordered a pork dish, a vege, a tofu casserole and noodles which was plenty for dinner and lunch next day!
We were served complimentary soup and dessert soup at the end of our meal.
My favourite dish was the spicy and sweet marinated pork and the beans with mince (which was not in the English menu).
Unfortunately they didn't have their fried beef noodle (干炒牛河)but got a crispy noodle with beef and was pretty tasty!
The restaurant from the outside doesn't look like much, but I recommend to step inside and it surprises me at how clean the place is!
Service was good, we were seated, orders were take. and tea was topped up when our teapot cap was open (indicating in need of more water).
I've had my fair share of chinese food and it's becoming quite apparent that places that you least expect, have the better tasting/ quality food.
I dined in at Tasty Zone last night and I wasn't expecting much, but golly it was good. We ordered around 12 dishes and all were exceptionally fresh and served in a timely manner. Favourites were definitely the prawn balls in salty egg yolk and the spring onion and ginger stirfried crayfish on yee noodles. I love how they catch a live cray and show you to ensure you're happy with the size first. :-)
The service was actually good - quick, efficient and ensured our rice pot and tea was always filled nicely. The owner actually made his way around to check up on us a few times too. Hi5.
Decor was a little outdated - the purple walls seem a little out of place.
I definitely had an awesome meal and I highly recommend it to all :-)
We chose this restaurant as a wild card and were not disappointed. Food was really reasonably priced and everything was delicious. Don't get put off by the decor, it could use an upgrade.. I would also suggest this is done where you want to go with a group so you can share different plates because they are generous sizes and you want to be able to try more than two! We had sweet and sour pork and beef with ginger, yum!
Good priced and authentic tasty cantonese cuisine food. Sweet and sour pork highly recommended.
Seafood were fresh and tasty most like traditional Cantoness dish.
I love the food there, it's amazing. I suggest you go there as well.
Great food, super friendly, would come back for sure..❤❤❤❤❤
