Love this place it never disappoints the food is melt in your mouth and the coffee is just as good. I fully recommend to everyone to give this cafe a try you wont be sorry.

Got excited when I found another place with Persian dishes! I liked this place more compared to Rumi and the other Kebab places I’ve been at. Really nice and tender meat, very fluffy rice. It would’ve been great if they were open till night time though as the Persian dishes they have are also nice to have for dinner. Will definitely come back!

From the name we thought this one would be asian cafe but turn out they serve kebab and other mediteranian foods.. which is i think it’s good and yummy, they have big portion of mixed kebab on rice with good price and also they have special menu for chicken nibbles with chips.. and turkish bread.. all of that is very yummyyyy

I have been to Iran (Persia) and I have tasted Soltani kebab and kebab khoobideh (amongst so many other exotic and delicious foods!). Persians know how to make kebab and Arum Cafe takes me back to when I travelled the amazing country of Iran.
Everything at Arum is made traditionally and cooked over charcoal.
The kebab, the steak, the chicken will be the most succulent, tender and juiciest meat you have ever experience.
Try the homemade doogh (dooo-g). It’s a Persian drink.
Unfortunately they have taken a few things off the menu but if you phone ahead, they may prepare it.....
Try the Ghormeh Sabzi, another favourite of mine.

Aside from their mains which were delish, they cafe-style menu was amazing. For a small place, they have a wide range of menu. Not to mention, the staff and chef were very friendly. Their prices are reasonable—not cheap, not too expensive.
Great food at very reasonable prices and most friendly people. The lamb (or mixed lamb and chicken) over rice with their salad is excellent and the desserts are always a treat. Arum is on our ‘regular’ list!

Visited this place for the first time as it was recommended by Persian family. The food was great, Probably one of the best Persian kebab I had in my entire life, coming from a chubby Persian!
Incredible Persian food!!!! One of the best kebabs I've had in a really long time. Ordered the koobideh and it was tender and delicious. Service was great as well!
It has a great service with a range of products. Coffees here are one of the best in West Auckland . You can also satisfy your hunger here with quality food options.
Service was friendly, food was delicious and quick, can't praise it highly enough. There are main size plates of food and smaller dim sum.
Husband and I shared sizzling lamb, salt & pepper squid, prawn toast (my personal favourite), deep fried shiu Mai, Westlake beef soup. There is also a bar. Can't believe it wasn't busier, will definitely be back. Sorry wed eaten some of the food before we took a picture!
First time dining here. Usually come for the poker machines. Food was very good. Very impressed at the quick service. Recommend to try the young chow fried rice. That was onnnn..... roast pork was average, BBQ on rice was very good.
Really great portion sizes for the food but the flavours tasted watered down. When I asked for some sauce for the mini spring rolls the server looked angry and pointed to the sauce station like I should have known where it was.

I have Dined In for lunch, diner and had Take Out. I very much like the crispy Deep Fried Wontons, Pan Fried Dumplings with Salt and Pepper Fried Chicken for lunch with my friend. Another time we also had Dumpling Soup and steamed Dumplings.
I have dined in a few times with my family for diner. The take out has been a great way to have yummy food when you don't have time to cook. My favourite is Beef, Rice and steamed vegies. Because I can't have Chilli I always ask them to not put Chilli in my food which makes for a very delicious meal. I have been going for the past 5 years. I find the staff very welcoming and friendly.
Dined here for my daughter's birthday and the food was fantastic. Love their service. The staff were really awesome and helpful. Definitely recommend this restaurant for special occasions.

Great selection good value for money, excellent food. Wait staff struggled to provide table service as restaurant was too busy but once I ordered at the bar the food arrived within minutes. We will definitely be back.
