Friendly people I always have the toasty brekkie wrap almost every morning really delicious some time I have a pie it really tasty and the really good coffees having a little chat with them they are nice people always smiling. I really like this place. We usually pull in on our Sunday drives around town.
Customer service is really good! Always greeted with a big friendly smile! Love it!
We usually stick to our regular orders to go, which is the Egg & Salad Sandwich (for me) and hubby gets the Portuguese Chicken & Avo Wrap! I guess we are just creatures of habit! But this sandwich I get is super yummy! I'm a huge fan of egg anyway but gosh I'm instantly put into my happy place when eating this! Seriously! Love how they don't hold back when putting the egg on either! Perhaps some may think I'm over exaggerating abit here but it definitely hits the spot with me! No pic of hubby's wrap because he was already tucking right into it before I could request a photo lol but it's safe to say he loves it!
They have lots of different food to choose from and even though I've yet to try anything different besides my beloved egg sandwich that I always request - there's no doubt it's gotta be all super delicious!
We always take away and eat down at the base of the harbour bridge but there are seats n tables here that you can sit and enjoy your food too.
Firstly I've been coming here for a few years now. Â Our family doctor is just across the road and you can sit down and read the newspaper enjoying your coffee and Ponsonby road. Â The owners are fair dinkum, good folk and are originally from Cambodia. Â The coffee rocks and the kai is awesome. Â :)
I should consider moving to this suburb because, there are just so many places to visit. And as always, I bought my signature beverage, HOT CHOCOLATE! some mighty fine sweetness going on in the morning. I was contemplating on adding the marshmallows, but told them not to.
The service there was great, managed to get my hot chocolate in probably under 4 mins as I can recall. The staff were also kind and friendly.
Inside, it's just like a regular bakery/cafe but it has a flow of direction with the table in the middle with the other bakes for sale. You know like what they have in the supermarket, well I'm not expert in retail but that's my perception of it. They also have a little dining area outside too which is a plus.
One of the best bakery I've been to. This place is very tidy and well presented. The service is good and they have plenty of healthy options available. If there isn't something that you like there then they are always willing to make a roll or wrap from scratch if there isn't something that suits.
My tops picks are the Hummus falafel roll and the feta spinach pastry. Both great value for money. This place is a must visit for a quick cheap option!

Picture the setting, only 3hrs before my flight home and I got a hankering for a final, traditional style NZ roast, at 11am. So, enter my uncompromising hero, Deli Bake. Lamb roll with mint sauce. Bing! We have the satisfaction checked. At $6. We have the final scrap for holiday cash checked (so, we already have a big score for these lads, don't we?). In all honesty, the roll was well worth the investment. Even at $12, twice the price I would have been satisfied. The roll and lamb were crackingly good. Much better that a cafe I been too an couple of hours earlier! Certainly be back when I next visit (maybe 6mth away)...
So many options in this petite Ponsonby Rd bakery - fresh sandwiches, rolls, wraps, pies, cakes, slices and pastries. The people are lovely and the fillings are good quality. The coffee is a classic rich roast. This is my go-to for breakfast, especially as I can’t have milk products; they use dairy-free margarine in all their sandwiches!! Pretty much the only bakery in Auckland I’ve come across where I can eat something!
Wow - hands down best value in Ponsonby! Portuguese chicken wrap ($7.50) is absolutely divine: packed with fresh chicken and avocado, toasted to perfection while you wait. The new owner is lovely!

This bakery is family owned and all made on site. I particularly like their pepper steak pie and the bap selection. Good select ion fresh and fair price. Coffee is great. I often sit outside to read the newspaper. 5 stars
