I really enjoyed my meal. The food was delicious and well priced . Relaxed atmosphere ,The Staff are really friendly . Our group ordered , Pork belly , salmon ,burgers and ribs . All perfect !! .
Was here for lunch today. Great place with good food. Wasnt busy so ambience was very relaxed and chilled. Good place to catch up with friends and family. Goose seating area. We were advised about fire drill which we were fine fine with. Staff were friendly, helpful and always had smiles on their face.
So I was looking for a place for a meeting nearby town and found the Alex bar & eatery. This has got everything: great location, close to the motorway, free parking, free wifi and even the view of the race-track! We had coffee and the food from their nice looking cabinet and they were really good and on-time. Overall a fine experience!
Visited the alex bar tonight for the new 300g sirloin steak special accompanied by dessert. Steak was cooked to perfection and the sticky toffee pudding was beautiful. What a great deal for $18 dollars so glad they got rid off the carvery very old fashioned. Keep up the good work guys.

Me and my friends went for Wednesday quiz night it was one of the best experience we had so far.
The food presentation was marvellous as well as food taste was excellent.
The menu is so friendly and not too expensive.
The service was 5 star staffs are very polite & professional.
So, please go there and try you will enjoy best time there for sure with your friends, family etc..

Went for lunch on a Sunday..which is great as it is not busy.
Love the location…and everything is nice, clean and modern. Plenty of car park.

Customer Service: Not Fantastic.
Food: I do love it.(The pancake is a MUST! to have) Its really tasty and well presented on the plate. Good portion as well.
Price: You looking at an average of $18.00 per person including a coffee. Very reasonably priced.
Capacity: You can have a large number! Lunch finishes at 2pm. Great place for lunch.
I will definitely recommend you to do lunches here….affordable food in a great location.!
Roy was dedicated to ensure we enjoyed our visit. Buffalo wings were popular and the pizza/burgers huge. Great parking and plenty of space to meet up
Good place to have a beer and hang out. Slightly on the expensive side. They do have TAB and Gaming machines so if you're bothered by that, not the place for you. Well maintained though. I would go back again.
Came here to watch the horse races... loved it so much, yummy food and kind staff. Will be back for sure

We love this Cafe for its casual easy atmosphere and spaciousness overlooking the racecourse. There always seems to be free parking available too.
The staff are friendly and there's a great array of food: from fresh counter food, sandwiches, pies, salads, quiche to amazing looking burgers, toasties, and yum hot chips. It has changed hands over the years, and the current owners deserve to succeed with all that they're offering. Today we were looked after by a lovely member of staff Tina, who went out of her way to organise that the kitchen make us some lush ham and salad club sandwiches. Enjoyed a beer with our lunch as well.

$20 burger special on Saturday. Was so yummy and fulfilling that I couldn't eat any of the Buffalo wings that I had ordered as well. I had those for lunch the next day and they were delicious too.
We went for the Thursday rib special.
Excellent service and atmosphere.
Delicious food, slightly Smokey slightly spicy ribs with chips and coleslaw.

With so many staff shortages across the country, Alex Cafe is doing great. Thank you Arian and the team.
