I usually get their Creamy Mushrooms (try it - you won’t be disappointed) but thought I’d try their Bacon Bene from their new menu and...man it was FLAWLESS. Everything on the plate was perfectly cooked, full of flavour and the Beetroot Purée and crisp fried Shallots added that extra special touch.
Perfection on a plate. Just like their Creamy Mushrooms. And the coffee is always perfect too!
Man. It’s not often I find a cafe where the quality is consistently incredible. The premises is squeaky clean (including bathrooms) and there are toys for the kids. Love love LOVE this local treasure.

Good customer service and deco. Ordered creamy mushroom and egg benedict for lunch. The portion size is small for the price in my opinion, but it tasted pretty good. Also ordered the flat white which we didn't like, but the tumeric latte was good.

Great coffee, friendly staff, beautiful interior and one of the best bacon benes in Auckland. The food and drinks never take long and it’s kid friendly! Love this local.
Cheapest coffee in Grey Lynn/Westmere. First time here, will definitely pop back in - long black was a little bitter but will try another to see if it was me or the coffee 😆
Nice little cafe close to the zoo and Motat. At first, I thought the menu choices were limited but the quality of the food really made up for it. Good prompt service. I had the bacon and egg bagel as well as the bacon and egg quiche. Yummo.

I’d had a busy morning and was in dire need of quick sustenance! Passing through Westmere, I spotted a cluster of tables roadside and quickly pulled over. The alfresco seats were all taken but when I entered Coffee Defora, I did notice a spacious area at the rear of the cafe. I ordered coffee and a salmon croissant. As luck would have it, one of the outside tables was vacated so I was able to sit and enjoy the sunshine and cool breeze as I waited, My mocha was superbly restorative and the salmon croissant delicious! The range of food available looked fresh and inviting, the two staff courteous and efficient. If I’d the time I would have ordered a brownie from their display cabinet but unfortunately time was against me. I will save this treat for my next visit!
You wouldn't see it from the outside, but this Cafe is incredible. Great Scones, Amazing Coffees. It's a must go!

This cafe is absolutely fabulous. Wife serving & the husband cooking & what an amazing cook. I ordered the Eggs Bene with bacon & a side mushrooms. WOW soo delicious. Its was perfectly cooked. Definitely recommend
