Ordered the Spicy Chicken hotpot, the Beef with Tripe hotpot, taro milk tea and the almond milk tea. My almond milk tea came out first, and it was surprisingly good, a bit sweet though. The hotpot was filled with pieces of tofu, black fungus, cabbage, tripe, beef, in a mild spicy soup. A bowl of rice, sauce and green bean soup was also included. The hotpot was very nice, so good for a cold, rainy day! A very filling and hearty meal.

Dined here on Friday night with a friend. After reading the reviews, we decided on a hot pot to share and two appetizers. They were sold out on a lot of the appetizers we wanted which was a little disappointing, so we had the crumbed chicken and pork which were both very nice. We decided on the seafood and tofu hot pot which was very yummy, lots of flavours and generous with the seafood and tofu. The staff weren't as helpful as they should have been and had to ask for basic items.
Would love to try their teppanyaki at some point too!

Had my first try at Mr. Pot today and I would say it ain't too bad. I had the original and it was light and had a clean taste; must be from the bunch of cilantro on top of my soup. Service was great, very attentive and she even asked if we enjoyed our meal. Ambience is also ok.

We came here on Wednesday due to a friend recommendation. We had ordered the vegetarian hot pot with ginseng and Taiwanese rickle wine and chicken hot pot. Both were good, with an abundant supply of food within the hot pot. Serving per hot pot would probably be more than one person, but less than for two. An awkward serving size, but they do have other things to order like their appetizers and drinks which could easily make for a meal for two people. As for the contents in the hot pot, a lot of lettuce is used, but you can't complain too much as the price is reasonably cheap and they still do offer other good ingredients like yummy mushrooms and vegetarian meats in the hot pot. Would definitely come back again to try out some of their other hot pots. 😊

We made our way to this cosy little restaurant last Friday night. As it was quite cold and windy, the prospect of good hot pot really watered our appetites, and we were eager to reach our destination. Having never heard of the place until recently, we were pleasantly surprised to see it fully occupied, so was told there'd be a 15 minute wait.

After looking at the concise menu (consisting of hotpot, a bubble tea selection, side dishes, teppanyaki etc) we decided to stick to the classics: the seafood and tofu hotpot, the beef, baked bean and tomato hotpot and the homemade plum juice.

The food turned out to be super warming for the soul :). I was given mussels, fish fillets, tofu, a generous helping of prawns (I counted 8!)
As well as fish balls and veges. It was cooked perfectly and I savoured every bite.

My partner's beef hotpot was rich in flavour and the beef was beautifully cooked. The chunks of meat were tender and the tomato soup with beans that came with it was delicious.

Plum juice ended up being mediocre, but fortunately not as sweet as I had expected. It did have a somewhat syrupy taste, but I still quite enjoyed it and thought it balanced out the rest of the meal nicely.

The restaurant's interior was clean and bright without jarring lighting; a simplistic aesthetic but was comfortable, with none of the chaos you'd find at some other Dominion Road establishments.

Refreshments were self serve and the service was standard for this type of restaurant. I do have to say that the guy we spoke to while paying was quite enthusiastic! Not sure if he's the owner?

A great find. The food was brilliant value, tasty and fresh. We left wonderfully well fed and will sample some more another day.

Warm up your winter nights with a wide selection of individual Taiwanese-style hotpot here. Each hotpot (good portion!) comes with a bowl of rice and a slice of fruit. I have tried the original flavour, spicy intestine, spicy chicken, rice wine chicken and a few of the daily special hotpot (listed on the board). I enjoyed how they have incorporated components like blood pudding, intestines, taro etc and the flavour of the various broths. My biggest disappointment is that the stinky tofu (their signature dish) is not available on every of my visits! I have tried weekdays and weekends. Why? Why? Why?

I'm surprised Mr Pot isn't more well known! Perhaps it's because it's on the other end of Dominion road, and isn't clustered with the likes of Barilla, New Flavour etc. I came here for dinner on a cold winter's night and in need of something hot to warm me up. We all ordered a hot pot each which is a new concept as hot pot places are usually designed for sharing but this was a nice change and also super handy if you have a vegetarian friend like us.

I ordered the Seafood and Tofu hotpot and for $13.90, I was expecting the usual cheap Asian standards of large portion sizes with mainly carbs and little vegetables. Think again! The pot was crammed full of cabbage, tofu, prawns, mussels, and a few fish balls, and served with a bowl of rice and a slice of apple. What an unexpected surprise. The quality was amazing for the price, none of us were able to finish. We also ordered Fried Tofu (not on the menu) which was also really good, but I'm not a fan of all the raw onion slices they served on top. The man who served us was very friendly and nice as well, and the interior is clean and comfortable- nothing like those typical, drab atmospheres you normally associate with dominion road. Highly recommended :)

First time trying the hot pot and it was good experience. Tried original and seafood. Both were good but seafood was better. People were friendly and nice.

The small hot pot is nice, and it costs about $12 to $14 per each with a small bowl of rice and dessert (sweet mung soup). They also have milk tea.
