We popped into Pakaranga Plaza for some lunch. It looked like a ghost town at 1pm on a sunday. We decided on aporto as we hadn't had it in awhile. There was no one on the front counter when we walked up this should have been a sign. We started ordering and the woman in at the counter wasn't even listening. It took about 15 minutes for the meals to be ready and all they had for drinks was coke. The burgers where a disgusting oil filled bland mess. The worst part is the chicken wasn't flame grilled it was deep fried. The diarrhea and throwing up that plagues me and my friend this morning was not worth it. I would not reccomend this place to anyone and to be completely honest it ruined every aporto experience I have ever had.<br/><br/>Disgusting.

Stopped by with my wife and grandson for a quick bite for lunch. For me the only thing going for this place is the delightful and helpful young lady serving at the counter. The food was extremely mediocre, my burger was cold and had to be replaced and the cost was exorbitant.<br/>Never again!!

Fast food turned into a long waiting game, the person preparing and making the food was serving the counter and handling all the food with her bare hands, walking around with tongs that she was handling the raw chicken with !Cross contamination every where! Flame grilled chicken was advertised and we spotted her deep frying some! Every one who ordered was waiting along time! Food was below average, my first bad experience at an Oportos and most definitely wont be going back to this one!

Can never go wrong at this particular branch. The chick with the glasses is always nice and friendly and makes the burgers really well. Always plenty of filling and the chicken is always fresh. <br/>Like everyone else i like that the chicken isn’t fried and i can never get enough of the chili sauce. On the chips in the burger on the chicken.<br/>Conveniently located in the mall its very handy and one of the better choices available in the mall food court.

I regularly eat at Oporto. The food is always good and I like the fact that it's generally not fried (except the french fries of course). One of the good things is if you get one of the set meals, you can swap the fries for something else... Say a pot of potato and gravy.<br/><br/>That said this particular branch can be a bit lacking sometimes. When there's something on promotion and you order it, there's a 50 - 50 chance they don't have it. Can be frustrating sometimes.

I tried the "take it on" box with a large assortment of goodies.<br/><br/>I was very surprised to say I enjoyed every item on the list and the grilled chicken was a light and tasty piece. <br/><br/>My chips were tasty with adequate flavour, the Potato was a little too watered down with not enough gravy, although it was strong and felt balanced<br/><br/>The burger was maybe a little too much as I was already full from the rest but also nice and fresh with a delicious bbq sauce!<br/><br/>My wrap was a little sad and small but very very tasty<br/><br/>For around 17 bucks It's a nice place to go but there are less expensive places to eat at that offer good eating.
