Delicious tandoori chicken, chicken tikka masala (they seem to use tandoori chicken in the sauce - so good), naan and ground lamb kebabs at great prices ($12-14 for curry, $2 - 3 for bread and $10 -12 for others like tandoori half chicken and kebab) from a tiny hole in the wall takeaway. You can order over the phone in advance but they have always taken longer than expected to make our food as I think it's always just one guy doing it. Highly recommended food - absolutely delicious.

Delicious homemade style food, very clean and healthy . Nice and friendly man. You can also order over phone. Car park available by the shop or in Deniz Rd. Loved the naan and lamb kebab ! I will get back to try other dishes. Fairly priced for the good quality. Thank you 💟!

I was very confused if I should try this store but oh lord I was mind blown. I religiously grab my dinner from there 4 times a week ever since I tried them. I tried the biriyani's and they were so good, with nice quantity and a price tag that's no where to be found today! So worth it! Marghoob brother is an amazing person, and the best thing is he'll cook it after order just how you want it rather than serving you from a pre cooked bulk like other stores, thus he requests 15-20min. All the best and please keep the consistency!

Been going here for years! Doesn't fail to impress. The cook is a brilliant & very friendly. Great tasting food. Especially the butter-chicken & the chicken tikka... Prices have stayed the same for years. Definitely worth going to. 5/5 will always be one of the top spots for BC.

My experience has always been truly amazing.
Best Chicken Tandoori in Auckland. Beef Biryani is one of a kind and I also love the Butter chicken with very delicious Naan. It's always good to phone order as the wait time can be a bit long. Overall my go-to place for when I want something I know I will relish.

Delicious and flavourful. We really enjoyed trying out a few dishes. Butter chicken, lamb biryani, chicken tika, lamb skewers, paratha, naan and mango lassi. All great and we'll be back for sure!

Phone Order in advance is best- walk up and you are likely to wait from 20 to 45 mins. The food is good; varies from time to time and habitual meal is a full Tandoori Chicken, with a couple of naans; have tried other curries and butter chicken pretty good; a little too tomatoey (as in paste?) strength sometimes. Lamb Rogan Josh has been sublime in past.

Best Tandoori Chicken i had in NZ. This guy is one man army in preparing dishes. Kind, humble and put all his love in making dishes. Even Achari Chicken and garlic naan was bang on with delicious taste. Definately will try out other dishes too. I recommend this place 10/10

My dad bought home the tandoori chicken for dinner and it was a wonderful decision. The chicken, which I squeezed lemon juice over with the given lemon pieces, was succulent and well cooked. The marination was perfect and the overall taste too.<br/><br/>Would definitely try again.

Tonight I was craving Butter chicken, Tikka masala & chicken curry. After searching & reading reviews this place stood out. We called in to place our order & picked it up 20mins later. Upon pick up was a man working solo, cooking everything fresh. The garlic naans were amazing & so we’re all the curries. I will definitely be back here again, highly recommend!!

Every now and then you hear someone talk about a "hole in the wall" food joint they found and fell in love with. If you're in Auckland, this is the place. The curry here is like nothing you'll have in the rest of the city.

This is a very good small takeaway shop who makes absolutely amazing tandoori chicken. Great value for money and cooked to perfection. Only issue I found is with the aloo paratha, abit stingy with the filling. Please use more filling to improve customer satisfaction. Apart from that thumbs up.

Cheap and cheerful takeaway spot. Great flavours and taste. You can see your food cooking in the tiny window.<br/>The wait was a bit long, however. Being there the first time, we have ordered on the spot and been advised 20-30 minutes wait which was OK. Ended up waiting just over 45 minutes. Next time ordering over the phone in advance.

This tiny take-away seems hidden behind a grocery shop's carpark. We have been to the grocery shop many times but never thought of trying out food from this place until someone suggested. My love for kebabs is eternal. And tandoori hutt dishes out creamy kebabs that melts in the mouth. My favs from this place are tandoori chicken, malai kebab, seekh kebab and paneer tikka masala

We ordered chicken biryani and chicken tikka masala. The quantities were generous and flavours amazing. They had run out of samosa so could not try any. Their naan was soft and fresh. Definately a very convenient take away place for dinner.

What a fabulous takeaway point for authentic Indian / Desi food. Take their biryani, seekh kabab or a curry - everything is yummy and balanced. I happen to takeaway their food a couple of time each month, never disappointed.

Super Value for money. Small and hidden place. I accidentally discovered it after staying 2 years in the same area. So far the best Indian food in the area. Tandoori chicken and naan are our favorite. We keep ordering from here. Keep cooking the great food.

Nice biriyani, it tastes different from other major Indian takeaways, but certainly not bad. Wouldn't mind going here again. This is a takeaway store only, not dine in.

The curries ive had here are pretty standard. The chicken tandoori is the best ive had in the area though. Last time i brought some of this home my partner commented that she thought she could eat this chicken everyday, and she used to be a vegetarian. Opening hours can be a little random

We call this place 'Hole in the Rock'..i.e. tiny.but do not judge the place by its size.Excellent curries and the best fluffy naan's n rotis ever had in Auckland yet.They do only takeaway so its a torture sitting in the car with the aroma of the curry n roti slowely filling the cabin and you know there is nothing you can do until you reach your dining table.<br/><br/>Rating<br/>1. Best Indian takeaway that my partner and I have ever tried. The lamb Korma was divine with a beautifully strong taste of cashews, the chicken tikka was also delicious and both curries paired perfectly with garlic naan! YUM!

Most delicious curry I have had in ages. Discovered it from Metro cheap eats top 100 2015. Crispy yummy vege samosas. Everything made from scratch which is why it takes longer than other places (give it 30 min) but you can ring ahead, and the people who work there are lovely.

<br/>Chicken Tikka Masala here is the bomb and so is anything from the tandoor like the kebabs. Don't be put off by the appearance of the shop (which is literally a hole in the wall). Highly recommend calling ahead otherwise be prepared to wait a long long time as everything is made fresh from scratch once you place the order.

The best tasting food in Auckland.The best part about this place is that they accommodate customer's taste and preference. Need to have a bit of patience as they prepare right there and when you arrive so no worry about stale food being warmed up.<br/>Price is real value for money. Tired of eating the same so called flavorsome food from Sandringham Street. Recommend everyone to try this place. Cautious: Patience is virtue!

The best in Auckland. <br/>If you are looking for best HALAL food fresh and delicious this is the only choice. Chicken birayni, Kababs and Naan are outstanding. other dishes i have yet to check but structure says building is great.<br/><br/>So if you want best food just go for it.

Sure 5 star for tandoori chicken. I have never found so authentic and real flavor in New Zealand. We tried biryani and lamb seek kebabs too, excellent stuff. The only draw back is time, since they make stuff fresh so it takes time, so order in advance and enjoy the real flavor. Keep rocking guys!

If you are looking for freshly baked Tandoori Naans - this is *THE PLACE TO GO* in Auckland or rather West Auckland!<br/><br/>If you insist and are patient they also prepare fresh grilled Kebabs (not the one in the wraps) and of course Pakistani or Indian curries (try their Achar Gosht).<br/><br/>Friendly, Pious and warm people. They are pretty cheap as well. Some of the best Naans at NZD 1.5 or 2. So, you get the idea! If you would like to try something different, try their sweetened grated coconut and raisin stuffed Peshawari Naan.
