Phone Order in advance is best- walk up and you are likely to wait from 20 to 45 mins. The food is good; varies from time to time and habitual meal is a full Tandoori Chicken, with a couple of naans; have tried other curries and butter chicken pretty good; a little too tomatoey (as in paste?) strength sometimes. Lamb Rogan Josh has been sublime in past.
Best Tandoori Chicken i had in NZ. This guy is one man army in preparing dishes. Kind, humble and put all his love in making dishes. Even Achari Chicken and garlic naan was bang on with delicious taste. Definately will try out other dishes too. I recommend this place 10/10
My dad bought home the tandoori chicken for dinner and it was a wonderful decision. The chicken, which I squeezed lemon juice over with the given lemon pieces, was succulent and well cooked. The marination was perfect and the overall taste too.
Would definitely try again.
If you are looking for home cook food this is the place. Make sure you call before going there, the owner appreciate the food and it takes some time to serve. Only take away, no dining.

I haven't been here in a few months but used to go here quite often till they closed down to get renovated.
Probably one of the best butter chickens & garlic naan's I have tasted in Auckland.
The flavors are authentic and you can tell the cook takes pride in each and every meal he makes.
Takeaway is always hot (freshly prepared) and the chicken Tikka +lamb shish is a must have.
The chef is really friendly and loves a good chat ☑️.

After so long i had the proper Delhi taste. Hats off to the chef. Looks like a tiny shop but the taste is better then all these big Indian restaurants.
Tonight I was craving Butter chicken, Tikka masala & chicken curry. After searching & reading reviews this place stood out. We called in to place our order & picked it up 20mins later. Upon pick up was a man working solo, cooking everything fresh. The garlic naans were amazing & so we’re all the curries. I will definitely be back here again, highly recommend!!
Every now and then you hear someone talk about a "hole in the wall" food joint they found and fell in love with. If you're in Auckland, this is the place. The curry here is like nothing you'll have in the rest of the city.
This is a very good small takeaway shop who makes absolutely amazing tandoori chicken. Great value for money and cooked to perfection. Only issue I found is with the aloo paratha, abit stingy with the filling. Please use more filling to improve customer satisfaction. Apart from that thumbs up.
The chicken tandoori is really great. If you guys serve it with mint chutney, it would be great. If combos are introduced that would be really nice too.
Delicious tandoori chicken, chicken tikka masala (they seem to use tandoori chicken in the sauce - so good), naan and ground lamb kebabs at great prices ($12-14 for curry, $2 - 3 for bread and $10 -12 for others like tandoori half chicken and kebab) from a tiny hole in the wall takeaway. You can order over the phone in advance but they have always taken longer than expected to make our food as I think it's always just one guy doing it. Highly recommended food - absolutely delicious.

Delicious homemade style food, very clean and healthy . Nice and friendly man. You can also order over phone. Car park available by the shop or in Deniz Rd. Loved the naan and lamb kebab ! I will get back to try other dishes. Fairly priced for the good quality. Thank you 💟!

I was very confused if I should try this store but oh lord I was mind blown. I religiously grab my dinner from there 4 times a week ever since I tried them. I tried the biriyani's and they were so good, with nice quantity and a price tag that's no where to be found today! So worth it! Marghoob brother is an amazing person, and the best thing is he'll cook it after order just how you want it rather than serving you from a pre cooked bulk like other stores, thus he requests 15-20min. All the best and please keep the consistency!
Been going here for years! Doesn't fail to impress. The cook is a brilliant & very friendly. Great tasting food. Especially the butter-chicken & the chicken tikka... Prices have stayed the same for years. Definitely worth going to. 5/5 will always be one of the top spots for BC.
Looks can be deceiving. Been a regular at this place for the last 7 years. The owner cooks for the love of cooking and not to make money.

Best Chicken Tandoori in Auckland. Beef Biryani is one of a kind and I also love the Butter chicken with very delicious Naan. It's always good to phone order as the wait time can be a bit long. Overall my go-to place for when I want something I know I will relish.
Just discovered this place, and will definitely be back. Amazingly tiny place with amazingly tasty food, at amazingly good prices - I can't recommend it enough! My new go-to!

Delicious and flavourful. We really enjoyed trying out a few dishes. Butter chicken, lamb biryani, chicken tika, lamb skewers, paratha, naan and mango lassi. All great and we'll be back for sure!
