Had a lovely dinner today at Miss Hotpot. So glad we opted for their tomato and veg broth (individual bowl) instead of spicy as the broth flavor was impressive by itself. The dipping sauce spread quality was very good. Loads of options on the menu; Tiger prawns we're fresh, massive and oh-so sweet - no seasoning required. Service staff was nice and friendly, helped us with some of our queries. What could really help for first timer like us would be a guide for cooking/dipping time, dipping sauce mixing suggestions and other etiquettes like what's for individual consumption/what can be shared etc. I was too lazy to Google for these 😂. Overall, lovely experience and will visit again for sure.

A very high quality hot pot place with the options to choose from a share pot with a group of people or one to yourself. The location is just around a corner, hard to miss, and easy to park on the street. I was extremely pleased with the customer service where they offer aprons and hair ties if you have long hair. Although the price in general is more dear but I reckon it’s definitely worth a try!

A fantastic place for hotpot! This really reminds me of Haidilao with the condiments and the service, which is great. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Great variety of soups to cook in: bone broth, sour spicy, tomato, and spicy. Lots of great quality meat, vegetables and seafood. Will definitely be back again.

Stopped by this place as we were in the area. We had such a great experience tonight. Firstly the place was nice, and had a good casual vibe. Tables are spaced out well and we were seated immediately. Since it was our first time the waiter took great care of us by showing us what to do and even made personal recommendations which was nice. Food was fresh and delicious. We definitely will be back. Big thanks to the waiter Ace who hosted us well😊💯💯 excellent.

First time ever trying korean hot pot and WOW!! Soooooo delicious!!! My now favourite restaurant ever. We wasn't sure what we were doing but the lady at the desk had guided us on how to order and what broths were spicy/mild ect. Just winged it with the dipping sauce and it was absolutely delicious. (DIPPING SAUCE IS KEY TO EVERYTHING, SO MAKE SURE IT IS YUM) Spent about $100 between 2 people Hard to fault. Thank you i will 100% be back soon

My partner and I had a really awesome experience at Maya Hot Pot. It was his first time doing hot pot and he loved it. The lady who seated us was really helpful and explained how to order soups and collecting our food. The skewers were fresh and had lots of options, sauce options are good too. Really good hotpot bases and top quality ingredients. The mushroom hotpot base is my favourite, its very rich in flavour, well seasoned, and drinking it as a soup washes down all the oil you've been having throughout the meal. Meat wise, I'd recommend their mushroom meatballs, lamb Leg slices (not shoulder slices, as for just $1 extra the leg slices are much more tender), special tender beef (always add the milk!). Seafood wise, definitely the fish fillets and special homemade shrimp jelly. Carbs wise, their hotpot noodles is really good. I always get the deep fried buns with condensed milk as well, but I think other places do it better. Prices are quite good for the quality they serve. Their service is genuine and helpful as well.

Really like this place. Been their twice and did a group hotpot. I haven't tried their individual hot pot yet. It's clean and has great selection of sauces and dishes. Staff are friendly and prompt. Their selection of beer is quite limited though. A plus since there is Zomato Gold where we can get 1 free dish. Their fried pork side dish is a must try I see it at every table 😉

Our first hotpot experience and it was well worth it. The staff was super friendly and guided us through the menu and explained "how to hotpot"🤩 i really recommend y'all to try fish fillets with your choice of hotpot flavor. It is super yummy compared to the beef slices we tried. The soup is spicy. I think the sesame dip will help to soothe your palate. Great experience, will be back for more.. Special thanks to the staff for helping us choose from the menu.

This was the first time going to a hot pot place that gives you individual pots. We ordered the meat, kumara, fried tofu and various other dishes. The portion sizes were quite small making the dish quite pricey but if you go in a group it is definitely worth it. Taste was very good.

Came here on a Friday evening and we were one of the early diners. We were greeted and seated immediately after choosing to have our own personal hotpot. I got the Mushroom Soup Pot and my friend got the Tom Yum Soup Pot. We chose a range of ingredients to share, including Beef Scramble Eggs, Premium Beef Tender, Beef Meatballs, Fish Roe Meatballs, Fresh Tofu, Pig Brain, Mushroom Platter and Vegetables Platter! Having your own little pot is a lot more convenient and faster to cook! The portion sizes were unexpectedly large and the meat cuts were generous too! The Premium Beef and Scrambled Eggs Beef were both so tender and well-marinated, it was genuinely better than the ones I’ve had in China. The soup base of the hotpot is also seasoned well and gives enough flavour to the ingredients. Service is good and staff are very friendly; they do get busy later in the evening and during weekends! Food: 10/10 Price: 8/10 Ambience: 8/10 Service: 10/10

Found it on Zomato and had dinner here on a rainy Monday night. Quiet, family crowd, 4-5 tables occupied. Very nice and clean interior. Comfortable seats. This place serves hot pot where you pick and tick what’s on the menu sheet. Three main sections to choose your items from : meat, mushrooms and vegetables. Mind you, it can get reaaaally expensive if you keep ticking without checking the price of each item. Sauce is charged at $3 per person and there’s a station where you can conjure up your own sauce. Literally everything is charged here. Our waitresses were super super nice and explained very nicely how the menu worked and also recommended us best choices. Bear in mind — Zomato gold only takes off one item; it’s not 1/2 price overall. (So pretty much useless) Overall, we (well at least I did ! Haha) really enjoyed our dinner and I would definitely come back again for those chewy lollies at the checkout counter 🤣🤣 that was the best part of the dinner !!

The food were great but the service ummmm. Like the other Zomato Gold users feedback, we had similar issue when we applied Zomato Gold discount while paying the bill. For example, we had 3 dish which was $12, and the staff won’t count them all due to same price initially. As discuss and explained, the staff allowed to make one of the three dish ($12) free. But after that, the attitude turned to impatient right away... Plus, the touchscreen of the stove did not working properly when we eating (couldn’t change the level of heat or even couldn’t turn off), one of the staff don’t even look or help just let us to take the pot from the stove... And have ordered the mixture of vegetable, but staff didn’t know what kind of vegetable were included in the dish.. Overall all, food are absolutely great but service are poor. (Thought the owner has already make some differences of the service - as the reply on the other Zomato gold user’s review, but sadly not yet)

Tried their hotpot for the first time last night with my friends and it was really amazing. There are variety of dishes you can choose from and everything we ordered was great. Really like the deep fried rice cake, a perfect dessert to finish off. Will definitely recommend to people who love hot pot like me.

Clean and comfortable environment for a hot pot restaurant. Their soup bases tasted a little blend. Overall fresh ingredients were used, especially the board muscle and beef tongue which was well sliced and very tender. The sliced lamb tasted odd and looked a bit like beef. Although the staff was determined that it was lamb. Felt a bit misled as the initial staff said we could deem 2 zomato golds discounts but the staff over the counter refused to redeem both. Last we were advised that some dishes were excluded from the discount. Taste: 7/10 Presentation: 8/10 Service: 4/10 Ambience: 7.5/10 Value for money: 7/10 Price $40 per person

I love this hotpot place! Really cool to have your own mini pot in front of you - with the broth being so good. Personally enjoyed the mushroom one and tomato one. Just note that the total price may come to a minor shock when you tick literally everything you want to eat. It really is filling with just the right amount so would recommened trying the beef, veges, fish balls, frie tofu, and vermicelli first and then adding extras.

Good food, portions and fast service but the zomato 1+1 deal wasn't explained very well and there was a bit of a surprise when it came to payment. Each component of the hot pot (e.g. tofu) is considered a dish and the freebie is just one of these 'dishes' so the bill is still quite substantial at the end.

Food is great and the restaurant itself is very modern. Must try the Home Made Shrimp Jelly. Not really $40 for two people. If you like trying a variety of different meats it could end up quite costly. Would definitely recommend it to those who want to try a new way of having hot pot. 👍🏻

We tried this restaurant tonight. Very good location, easy parking at the corner lane. Spacious indoor sitting area? I like it serves small pot per person. Excet the hand cut lamb was a bit thicker and the raw sugar jelly was a bit harder to teech, others were quite tasty. At the end, when we present Zomato gold membership, the calculation of the complimentary was different as we read from membership guidance. After we explained to the owner, she allowed us to have 1 same price dish and the other one less than the highest price dish for free since we have 2 memberships So we still think their service is good. Will recommend to other friends.

I was looking for a new hot pot place to try and stumbled onto this place. The staff are friendly. Menu is easy, just gotta tick what you like and the staff bring the ingredients to your table. Price wise, its affordable nothing too wallet smashing 😁 and I love how they have individual pots as well as a shared one.

The food was tasty and felt that they were very clean (some food were frozen though, including cauliflower). It is not $40 approx like suggested by Zomato. Went in for 2 people and it came to $80+. They are not generous with vegetable at all. Ordered the vegetable platter and it was very disappointing. The Fungus platter was much better. $3 for sauce per person is pretty unreasonable. Edit: been going to the toilet non stop - not too sure about their cleanliness now.

The environment is very homey and welcoming. The staff are helpful and friendly. The little things they provide like aprons are very cute. The presentation is very neat and pleasing. However, I personally thought it was on the more expensive end of casual dinning. They charge $3 for dipping sauce by default, and they're not particularly generous with vegetables.

One of the best hotspots in Auckland. They have individual pots as well as traditional pots. They also have a good range of soup bases but beware the spicy pots are quite spicy. I came here with two other friends and we ordered an excessive amount if food, totalling $240, so this is definitely not a cheap hotpot place. The restaurant is very clean and the decor is homely. Service is pretty standard for a Chinese restaurant, dont expect the fastest service. This place is one of the only ones that I know of that does fresh, hand cut lamb and you can definitely notice the difference in mouth feel and flavour compared to the frozen stuff. They also have a wide array of other fresh meats and I would definitely recommend the special tender beef and scrambled egg beef. The vegetable selection is also excellent so theres definitely a reasonable selection for vegetarians. Overall Ambience 3.5/5 Service 3.5/5 Quality 5/5 Quantity 4/5 Presentation 4/5 Value 3/5 Overall if you are celebrating a special occasion or dont mind paying a premium then I would definitely recommend this place for its fresh meat.

This place was definitely worth going too. I am a big hotpot fan and this place gave me two choices of soup base ( tomato and chilli soup). The presentation was very fancy and for the price that I paid it is definitely worth going to again. One of my favourite hot pot restaurants. This place is very clean and you don’t get the hot pot smell on your clothing afterwards. The food is fresh and well presented. They charge $5 for single soup base and $3 for the sauces and spices.

😂so far the worst place for hotpot. Service was hmmm, hard to comment...When I tried to get some spring onion from the sauce area, I saw some little flies flying around that area. What was worse was that me and my husband kept running into toilets for the whole afternoon and even today! We’ll never go there for a second time.

Not many people here on the Easter Sunday as well as the waiter (actually only 1). The food was okay. My friend and I did not enjoy the meal as there are some BEES (yes. First time at a hotpot and really enjoyed myself here! Veggies were crisp and fresh and the meat was good! Really loved how social the whole experience was and good with the individual hot plates at each seat. Cheap wine and beers to go with your meal $5-$6!!

We were welcomed with friendly service and a nice environment. We got individual pots with mild and medium spice levels, alongside a few assortments of meats and veges. The flavour of the soup and dishes all tasted great so we were initially a bit perplexed as to why we were the only people there for the first hour, and there were only two other tables (out of many) that were occupied as we left. We realised that everything turned out to be quite pricey - something you don’t really realise when ordering everything at the beginning. Our meal came to a total of $98 for 2 people, although to be fair we could have done with ordering one dish less.

Decided to give this place a go - portions were decent, food was fresh and I liked the idea of how we had separate pots so we can choose the soup base to our liking. Highlight would definitely be the beef with egg - makes the texture of the beef just that tad bit softer!

It’s a great place for hotpot in Auckland. I really recommend it. Prices aren't cheap at an average $35 per head without drinks but the quality of the food, condiments and service are very good. Staffs are friendly. Also, dishes are fresh and clean, with a good selection of soup base.

Excellent hotpot restaurant that I have even been. Super relaxing environment, delicious food and very friendly staff! It is a very good choice for a party of friends to having a gathering. Their beef tongue and lamb slices are really good, the staff recommends deep fried pork for my children and they love it so much we totally ordered twice for it! We also ordered dumplings with pork and coriander flavor, I recommend eating it with dipping sauce.

One of the most amazing hot pot restaurant at I ever been in Auckland, and it also have a cute menu, the waitress was very nice cause we didn’t know what is the difference between the original hot pot and the personal hot pot so she helped us with ordering the hot pot and told me where to get the dipping sauce. Remember to check the receipt before paying at this place!! 😠🤬🤬 Food is okay, soup is nice but the service is hmmm.. First we thought its good, until when we pay. If I didn't double check the receipt. They would charge us $15 more. $9 for the dish they don't even have and they didn't even update the order when they realise they don't have the products. $3 each for some sauce that we didn't even see. And nobody ever told us, there are sauces at the very corner and end of the restaurant. So when I found out, they said "we can't refund you the money no matter you had the sauce or not, cuz its on the menu. because it doesn't have the tiny box next to it, so it means you must pay. " If you really think its a must pay why can't you write down as a statement or at least tell your waitresses to remind ppl about it when u introduce the menu. And the funny thing is the OWNER(Not just normal staff or manager) said, "I can't ask waitresses to telling the customer this thing every single time." LOL what? WHY NOT? ISN'T IT THE WAITRESSES JOB? This place is quite sneaky about the pricing. I don't think I would ever go back. And I DON'T recommend Miss Hotpot for such bad customer experience.

Really like this place. We went there for a Sunday dinner. The staffs are very friendly. The place looks clean. You can get a pot with four flavors. The broth themselves taste really nice! The spring onions and the coriander are separeted which is so good! It's father's day and the gentlemen got two bottles of beer for free. Will definatly go back for more food.

I came here with my partner and friends. One of my friend is a vegan and we're glad that they also provides vegetarian hotpot soup base. The staff was very friendly, she recommended some popular items for us as this is our first time coming here. The hotpot soup base is made by bones and the ingredients are so fresh and various. They also offers many kinds of dipping source ingredients. You can choose what you like to fit your own tastes.

This is probably the best hotpot place I like in Auckland. Many hotpot places have strong oily smell but not here. The atmosphere is relax and comfortable where you can enjoy your dinner and chat with friends. They are very considered to provide apron for customer. Food is a little bit smaller in portion for the given price but the sauces are good and generous. An ideal hotpot place if you prefer small pot over sharing large pot with other people. Feels a lot more hygiene to me.

Incredibly delicious and delightfully surprised! Beautiful ambience with airconditioning, extremely comfortable and enjoyable meal. A lot of fun too! The pot itself is very well priced, the soup base is all made in kitchen from scratch. Fragrant and flavourful. A lovely wine selection too! Having a personal exclusive pot to your liking is always great, can customise to your liking. The raw egg beef slices were very delicious, so were the hand cut lamb. Tender fish slices don’t break apart. The cart of deep fried pork strips was fun to eat too. Great selection of sauces, and if you’re unsure how to mix and match the wait staff are happy to help and advise you what you might like and mix to your likely for you! If you are feeling adventurous they have different innards and meat cuts too! The portions are ridiculously generous too! Very well priced! Family friendly, meeting friendly, date friendly, suitable for any occasion. A must go to for chinese food, guaranteed to provide a wonderful experience. I will be back very soon. This is my go to hotpot place now! Not to mention easy parking too! There are reviews for sticky tables which the owners have fixed and also some mentioned no wow factor, but presentation is now really cool and hip! A must try or you’d definitely be missing out! On behalf of my boyfriend: Best hotpot I’ve had this year! Great atmosphere, very hygienic and neat. Food not only tastes good but is presented very beautifully as you can see from the photos. I would especially recommend the beef tongue, beef tendon, beef slices (with the egg yolk!) and hand cut lamb. The soup is drinkable and delicious too, unlike most other hotpot places. Owner and waitstaff are very lovely and attentive. Prices are very reasonable, huge dishes in comparison to other hotpot places. Ordered way too much since we largely underestimated the serving sizes. I will definitely be back!

Nice Environment, friendly staff, tasty food. my daughter likes the red wine pear ice cream so much, and my favorite is beef tongue, it's really tender. I'll definitely come back.

Came in tonight for dinner. Ordered beef and lamb slices, mushroom and beef meatballs, cucumber, taro, tofu, tofu skin and shrimp. The meatball tasted quite dense. There were a selection of sauces to choose from. The cucumber tasted really good. The environment was relaxing and nice but the table was a bit sticky. The waitress explained to us and said that it was because of the new cleaning spray for the table.

Accessible and hygienic This hotpot place gives you options of having your own small pot or big one to share. I’ve only tried the small pot for dinner. The quality of food and flavour was decent but nothing popped out to wow me. Decent casual dining. Food: 3/5 Service: 4/5 Convenience: 5/5

The range of menu isnt as extensive as other places but still offers a lot of choices. We had the shared pot with all four flavours and sour spicy and bone soup would be the choice for my next visit. The spicy soup is very spicy despite ordering the least spicy level. Tomato soup is on the little too sweet side for my personal liking. Customer service is on the top notch, all staff members with good smiles and willing to help out in choosing menu and sauce etc. Overall cleanliness was excellent. Price per person 40-45$ with alcohol.

Wow, just wow. Seriously perfect in everyway. The food was exquisite, beautifully prepared and tasted amazing. Highly recommend the potato slice. The staff were fantastic. Couldn't possibly recommend this place more. Cos this was my first time hotpot experience, too excited to take pics, will definitely come back again.

Pros: very spacious, clean, food is tasty and ok priced. Close to easy off street parking. 7 people with a bottle of wine $280. From my experience, the staff are much nicer and more approachable compared to other hot pot places so I would recommend this place to people who want to try this for the first time as the staff are happy to explain and recommend things in english. Con: I had called in to ask if there was a time limit and they said No, but we had to finish earlier than we had wanted as there was a huge line waiting out the door. Guess that's a sign of good business! Would also be good of they had a better selection of fresh seafood (not just balls and prawns.) Overall experience 4/5 and would go again with friends!! Recommend: tomato soup base for non spicy lovers and go crazy with the custom sauces - they're all yum!

We went there for lunch today and it was amazing! The soup bases were flavourful (my fav was the tomato one) and the dishes were fresh. If you like spicy food I’d highly recommend the spicy beef, it will blow your mind! The service were top notch too, we’ll definitely be back for more.

Conveniently opposite the liquor store as it is BYOW. Corkage is a little steep at $10 a bottle but worth it. Greeted at the door by a waiter who gave us the low down on the menu and what to expect. There is a station where you are able to create your own dipping sauce. If it’s your first time here the waiter makes you his fav sauce as well. Don’t bother eating your sauce cause his is amazing. Service was great. Hot pots came out quickly and food not long after. Sour spicy pot was the best sooo good! Food was yum, beware of spicy beef, listen to the waiter when he warns you that it’s very spicy. We love spicy food but the beef was dangerous. Still good though. Would definitely go back! Perfect for winter dates!! Such a fun experience!!

Tried hotpot for the first time at Miss Hotpot- newly opened on Dominion Road. It is a fun, vibrant place for a meal. I tried the bone broth and my husband the tomato broth, which was definitely the better choice! We ordered lamb, meatballs, beef & mushroom meatballs, potatoes and broccoli to dip into our piping hot broth. David also tried Harbin, which was very reasonably priced at $8 for 500ml. $60 all up for two- not a bad deal.

The place was newly opened but they were awesome. Pretty big place, nicely decorated and very clean. Friendly staff, service was quick. I didnt quite like the broth but all the side dishes were so nice.
