Had been told this was a great place for coffee and food.
When we drove up there were a long line of cars on the side of the road, a great sign.
We were not disappointed with our food or coffee, such a great selection for a small place.
A great place to chill out, fuel up, before more going more adventures.
Yummy food, lovely staff, beautiful location. I ordered the pancakes and they were fluffy and golden brown. I also liked the berries served with it, a nice tart flavour. Really enjoyed our breakfast here, was a great start to the day. When visiting the barrier give this cafe a visit!

Oh where to start- Brett & Julie are fantastic hosts. We got to sample pizzas, beer, puku’s pancakes, big brekkie, coffee, chocolate brownies and amazingly moist carrot cake - thankfully not all on one day. Loved it all, thanks guys 😎
Blown away! Both meals were outstanding! Cauliflower soup and IndoRice. Chef even shared his culinary secrets with us.

First rate cafe food with great locally roasted coffee, you can't go past My Fat Puku for breakfast/brunch at Claris!
This is the place to *be* and was a great spot for me to recharge and reset after a night of camping. Staff were friendly and the cafe is spacious with lots of sunny patio spots!

Woo hoo! The food is authentic, fresh and tasty. Great Barrier is a beautiful place in itself. My Fat Puku only accentuates the experience. Experienced staff and attention to detail. What more could a Puku want?😊
Wasn't expecting much when I got there but it did amaze me how great the food was and the ambience. Recommended!
Stopped at MFP when my flight was delayed, it's a short walk from the airport.
I had the mushroom fries. Very yummy.
