Good food. Value for food 8/10. We went on a Thursday night, just walked in, place a bit busy. Luckily a group just finished so we were accomodated. There were not much tables. There was only one lady on the floor taking order, cleaning tables, and servicing the counter too, so it took a while for our orders to be taken. Maybe short staffed that night. Really liked the place, decent prices and tasty food.
Really good food and amazing salad that comes with all mains. Good service with smile and attractive prices. Unfortunately decor very tired and a bit of cleaning would not hurt. Please wipe the cobwebs and play Japanese music instead of what you playing now. Fix that and you will deserve 5 stars.
Went here with my wife.
We had Donburi- Salmon and Chicken.
Both dishes were nice but found it overpriced for it's quantity against other places.
Would like to come back and try other items.
Ambience was good and tidy.
Service was fast.
Amazing food and amazing service. The soft shell crab salad was on point and the yaki-udon was very delicious. Side note, the miso soup was very nice too
Had a nice lunch here on a sunny hot Summer's day. We sat outside because it was waaaay too hot. The inside dining is cosy.
The staff are very friendly and efficient. I had the Bento box of the day. They have specials on Bento boxes on Monday to Friday. I really liked the salad and the dressing they drench it in. The salmon and cream cheese sushi was good too.
The Katsu curry chicken had lovely flavours and everything was presented nicely.
Convenient location right in mission bay. We came here for dinner and went to the beach after. The food is all reasonably priced and portions are average. Not the cheapest nor the nicest Japanese restaurant I’ve been to but still quite decent. Quite a large variety of dishes to order with vegan options.
Great dinner box, and yummy noodles. Very satisfied with the food, service and atmosphere. Awesome location too if you get hungry walking mission bay.
Food 8.5/10
Atmosphere 9/10
Service 9/10
Price 8.5/10
Prob one of the better places to eat in mission bay as it doesn't have the ridiculous tourist prices as most the others do along with average food. Have had dinner here a few times and is consistently good. Sushi comes in lots of different varieties and super fresh. Lots of options with dinner boxes and sets etc. First time for lunch today and we went with the lunch special which was miso, teriyaki chicken on rice, sushi, salad, gyoza and a couple of other deep fried goodies. Such amazing value at $15. Great sizes and variety for a bento box. Also had to get tempura prawns to start which were super light. Small, dark and cozy.
We have been wanting to try Japanese cuisine for sometime now. It was an occasion n luckily Midori was in sight. Small place but beautiful. Staff is prompt. Ordered 1 beer, Gyoza from entree n 2 mains Salmon teriyaki Don n Red sweet & spicy chicken. Good quality dishes. Gyoza is 5 dumplings with Soya sauce n some soup. Dumplings were too small for $9. Main were nice n good quantity. Beer pint can be priced less tough not $7. Our first Japanese cuisine experience is good. About $55 for 2 persons. Cheers.
Very pleasant evening with friends in nice surroundings. Service was great. One of us had the dinner box which was very nice, two had the sizzling beef, one had the sukiyaki and one had the tuna salad. All were pronounced tasty although it was felt there was too much cabbage in the sizzling beef dishes. BYO @ $3 a glass but at least you can chose your own wine.
Probably will return at some stage.
Best Japanese restaurant in the area by some margin. Quite a surprise really. Food is simply perfect...an absolute must try.
Yummy food polite staff and reasonably priced :)
Great sushi! Especially for being right near the water front.
I go there quite often because of the lunch special.
Simply delicious and friendly . Recommend it !
Not cheap, but delicious.
