I purchased the fermented oat roll, which was still warm when I got it this morning and the smoked salmon was the best salmon I’ve ever eaten! I can’t wait to work my way through the menu. Very highly recommend.

I ate the most divine ham and cheese croissant here for lunch, warm, buttery and crisp, never tried a croissant better in Auckland before! Coffee was hot and strong. I definitely will be going back here to try the other mouth watering treats they had in the cabinet.

Brilliant freshly baked bread and the donuts are other worldly. Definitely worth a visit to grab a coffee and a pastry

Could eat this bread daily! [I absolutely love bread so I may or may not be biased. But this is definitely the place I’d recommend people to go to if they wanna hit up a bakery. I genuinely get so excited every time I’m here. Their pastries are amazing, pies are delicious, donuts (every flavour) is mouth-watering. Danishes and hazelnut croissants are a must. Forget about almond croissants (I’m jking, but just saying cus almond flavoured croissants can be found everywhere now so come try something new :)). The original store in Point Chevalier is such a nice place to relax in. They opened up inside Citta Newmarket this year which has literally been one of the best news I’ve received in 2020. Lol.
I do like it but definitely would prefer the one in Point Chevalier. They sell Supreme coffee too for those who want their morn coffees.
-> BE BACK OR BACK AWAY? Be back for sure. This is the place for your fresh, quality, tasty bread.]

Came here on a public holiday for a quick breakfast (coffee and pastry). Tables were understandably hard to come by but we managed to get a spot.
Coffee was good. Pastries and pies were of a high quality and most importantly were delicious.

Came here a while ago, got there almost at closing time but managed to get one of their croissant - it was honestly one of the best croissant i’ve had in Auckland, it was crispy and fluffy at the same time. The staff was friendly and fair price for the size!

The most amazing Reuben sandwich that I've ever eaten. The bread here is just sublime. Long queues out the door on the weekend, so come early. It's fresh, tasty and good portion size. Very happy, will be back

The bread is always fresh and yummy! A great place for a quick breakfast if you are a bread lover, because there isn’t many choices for breakfast. Otherwise it’s all good.

Pun unintended but Daily Bread has generated a bit of a cult following for their baked goods. In particular their taro sourdough had lines going out the door. That, coupled with still-warm pretzels, crispy pies and borderline-sinful donuts, you can, as Spinoff rightly puts “find the place by the trail of drool”. As a refurbished neoclassical bank building, we loved the contrast of modern, stark-white walls and LED beams with dark steel and glass industrial elements. We pondered over whether the vintage mahogany cabinets were originally from the buildings’ banking days, and collectively lost our minds when we learned that the big vault safe door at the back had been converted into a chiller. They have a petite sheltered courtyard to nom in and we imagine it’d be just as cosy in winter - there’s a wood fire oven so things look promising. We confess there are huskies who usually shy away from carbs and sugar, but today was a worthwhile cheat day. Go grab a hot cross bun right now, we swear you won’t regret it, even in sugar purgatory.

Almost forgot to write a review for Daily Bread after the Auckland Art Fair😅 I was in the fair for five days and every day I bought a different pastry to try and I absolutely loved them! Plain croissant and ham and cheese croissants were so crunchy outside and silky inside. Their danish were so amazing!! Had rhubarb danish and raspberry pear danish and I was gutted I finished them so quickly:) I also tried strawberry custard sourdough donut (forgot to take a picture). Although it was a bit chaotic to eat it coz the cream oozed out once you had a bite, it was so yummy.
Definitely will go for round two:)

The shop has a variety of bakeries and jams to go with. The dining area is relaxing with high roof and good sunshine.Highly recommend toasted corn beef sandwiches, at least eight layers of beef inside. A very sincere food! Can park at a parking place at the back and enter from the back door from a stairway. Will be back ~

The ham and cheese croissant was amazing. The mutton pie was full of filling with a lot of tender meat. The custard pie absolutely delicious with a delicate ginger flavor. Awesome coffee. Definitely I would come back to try other things.

As loyal locals, my husband and I have had the pleasure of watching our neighbourhood evolve over the years. Amidst all the changes, one thing has remained constant - our cherished bakery. Beyond the pastries, what makes this bakery truly special is its role in our community. The staff knows us by name and always takes a moment to chat. It's not just about serving customers; it's about fostering a sense of belonging. The bakery has become a meeting place for friends and neighbour.

Like bread? Real bread? Then search no more, here you will find REAL bread and pastry, i have tried their bread before but this was the first time going to the place. We had a Mutton and Mince pie that was GREAT, a Custard tart that was amazing and a Ham & Cheese Croissant that didn't dissapoint at all. I hope we had a Daily Bread in the North Shore...

Only dropped in on my way to my dentist on the corner. WOW !! MEAN LOOKING AND TASTING TREATS. Not your average bakery by any means. This does include the prices I'm afraid. Couldn't get a 3 or even 4 dollar donut here but delicious food. Little too pricey for Pt Chev.

The power of crafting your own recipe , it taste real, taste good , great place for a nice hearty breakfast , little detail is that food should have more description, like the “eggs and bacon”, it doesn’t say spicy sauce so it was funny watching my wife eyes popping out as she don’t and can’t eat spicy . 😵🤣

Really busy cafe - speciality breads, croissants. Lots of sweet treats - hazelnut donut was a winner. Coffee nice and strong. We had ham croissants, pan an chocolate and toast with salmon and pear kimchi. Everything was really good. Will be going back again. But bear in mind it's really busy on weekends, stand in line and share tables.

We had an online order which we picked up after being delivered since we weren't in the delivery area. It was the hot cross buns. I'm not a big fan of hot cross buns and these ones were ok. I did like the cross bits but not a big fan of the fruits. I would probably like some other bread but this was what we had. Edit: The cheese tiwst was interesting but the hazelnut croissant was nice. Their frozen croissants require leaving it in an oven overnight to prove before baking. It came out flaky and quite crispy but required more time then instructed.

Nice little cafe around a very impressive bakery operation. The baked goods are devine, but the menu leaves somewhat to be desired. I paid $15 for a samwhich that was pretty tasty but they had nothing green available as toppings...only preserves and sauces.
