Had a piece of their New York cheesecake today. It was so delicious and decadent. I'd highly recommend and definitely go back for more. Although it was $12.90 for a slice, it was a very generously sized piece that needed to be shared. I look forward to trying more treats soon. Yum!
Fresh and no so sugary donut. Wouldn’t go back to krispy kreme
Excellent customer experience. We had a chocolate cake... and boy!! It was delicious!! A perfect place to fulfill your sweet cravings!!!
Ordered online and process was easy. Friendly service. Nice takeaway box. Deep dish Banofee pie and bonus that it came with a glass dish which I can reuse. Mixed reviews on the pie from our household, some loved it and some not so much.
Just order donuts through Uber eats. My work mate and I are amazed. Best donut I’ve had hands down. So fresh and light. So so good. Can’t wait to try more food from here.
I wedge banoffee pie for $12? I rather buy 2 from night market.
Wow the xmas decorations were beautiful! The range of pies and desserts were very broad. Would definitely revisit to satisfy the sweet tooth
Got a slice of their strawberry cheesecake! Really thick and creamy, beautifully tasting and delicate. The strawberry jam on the top was tart and balanced out the cheesy flavors and the base was so soft and caramel tasting. A little expensive ($12.50) for a slice though!
Came here late afternoon a few weeks ago, as I was having a donut craving. It’s a lovely donut and pie shop and I love the old diner vibes from the store.
We were served by a new staff member (she told us she was new), and she was very helpful in helping us choose flavours.
Our favourite flavours were: Bacon glazed, Matcha cake donut (quite a strong matcha flavour) and pic’s peanut butter.
The Kia Ora lime pie is excellent! The sweetness of the airy cheesecake base is balanced by the sourness of lime flavor. The pastry is a little bit soft but it doesn’t affect the whole tasting experience. Totally love it.

For everyone with a sweet tooth! Lovely pies and cakes and doughnuts of all descriptions. Served by friendly staff and with tons of options to choose. Some say these are the best (sweet) pies in the city. The cheesecake is brilliant too.
Beware the sugar induced comma! ;)

I'm thinking this is the American Dream where they talk about all the pies. It would take me a month to try everything but from just looking, these look fantastic. I tried the mini pie, Rocky road it was great, nice rich flavour, loved it. Looks like they do catering options so it'd be great for birthdays etc
Best place to quench your sweet tooth!!!
Unbelievably delicious pies, perfect doughnuts, and particularly tasty cinnamon rolls.
Staff is polite and welcoming. You feel as if you were in your granny’s. Love it!
You can get pies for events and you won’t be disappointed. They will be the success of the party.
The place is small, but there is a great feel to it.
The coffee if free refill, just like in America.
the modern day K Toad vibe mixed with American pies and cuisine. The pies look incredible and the donuts and baking looks divine.
We ordered a mixture of pastries and coffees as it was too early for sweet decadence.
The coffee making was not speedy.
The service was friendly.
There were a couple of Uber eats orders going out.
I can report the food was fine, fresh and delicious.
The reason I made it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the restaurant seating was not ideal, it was noisy as they are baking there. The music also didn’t suit the theme of the place.
Living overseas, I had donuts delivered as a gift for a loved one. Feedback was that all the flavours sent were "SOO good and intricate"! My 5 star review also comes from the fact that a staff member directly emailed me to thank me for my purchase. Customer service is above amazing despite times being really weird right now. Delightful donuts + service! Can't wait to try these myself once borders open up!

TL:DR - Pie Piper is absolutely amazing, even when things don't always go to plan.
Story time, fam.
I have been a long-time fanatic of ALL of the Pie Piper's offerings: their chicken and waffles (and American-style biscuits) speak to my Southern Soul food spirit. I was gifted a rainbow birthday cake this year, and their pies completed my Thanksgiving feast last year ( If I love you, I'm probably gonna gift you a pie or doughnut).
Consistently amazing food and service, so I sought to recreate last year's memories and make the best out of lockdown during Thanksgiving.
Ordered their pies and other specials, so was expecting 2 pies and a (surprise secret) mini pie for partner.
Driving from West Auckland to Eastridge, awaiting me was a beautifully wrapped trio of boxes, tied with signature red ribbon.
Upon return, I was reminded I had ordered extra pastries (because, of course!) and so...1 pie, 1 mini pie, 1 box of pastries. Missing a pie. My own dumb fault for not checking/ and forgetting I ordered other stuff. Panic ensues because my partner is unable to drive out again from home. I would be stuck at home all day the following day solo-ing the entire Thanksgiving feast...everyone also working from home.
I rung, and A ngel (I think?) helped me sort everything, from talking with her managers (after hours, too!), and then confirming with me that they would correct the error and get my pie out to me the very next day.
They saved my Thanksgiving. For their superlative products and customer service, they have a life-long promoter in me and my family.
Great doughnuts, just the right hint of yeast in the dough. They were so kind when we asked if they had cinnamon scrolls which I saw earlier that week, they said they didn't. Later we had one of the staff come out with one on the house! Fresh out of the oven. Great place for a treat
Wasn’t super impressed by the donuts, but they certainly were not bad. Flavors are interesting, but the donut itself was a little dry and the banana cream was very artificial tasting. Staff was very friendly and they offer bottomless filter coffee, a hard treat to come by in New Zealand. The cheesecakes looked really nice, although we did not try them. Pricing is pretty expensive ($5/donut). Prolly won’t visit this place regularly, but not upset that I went.
Wonderful pies, cakes and donuts.
The staff is very friendly and helpful too. No matter how many questions you will ask in order to make a choice between the selection of delicious looking pastries, they do not get annoyed and will answer any questions with a smile.
Love the free dog treats too :)
Usually generous portions, partner really likes the banoffee pie. Has had it multiple times. Cheesecakes are super nice too!
