My expectations for this restaurant really exceeded and wow, Iโve never had quite authentic and flavourful curry in a while and this hit the mark. I ordered the chicken tikka masala with rice and 2 garlic naan, the tikka masala was so creamy, tasty and delightful and paired with the garlic naan just made it even better. The chicken wasnโt dry and was juicy and tender. I ordered by calling the restaurant which was fairly easy and whilst picking up my order felt very welcomed by the lovely young girl at the counter as well as her father in the back. The pricing is very much worth the food and I wish I had bought double of what I ordered! Iโm excited to come back and I hope itโs soon, thank you for the great experience :)

If you are craving some delicious Indian cuisine with a cozy family oriented atmosphere, this place is PERFECT!!!! Their food is absolutely divine and their pricing is wonderful for the large portion sizes you are given. If you choose to dine in, the service they provide is lovely. They will make sure you are comfortable and enjoying your meal and also appreciate any feedback you may have for them. This is one of my top favorite places to eat and they also deliver. I order various spices for the kids and us adults. The Lamb Saagwala is always my favorite, lamb always so tender. Others like chicken korma and butter chicken. Another yum family dinner! Rated atmosphere, as I order in store and always get friendly welcome & service from Ved.

This place was on the way home and I was wanting to get some takeaway so I stopped by to try it. They did have online ordering but I didn't know and just ended up ordering takeaway there. There were a few people who did that and just picked up their meals without having to wait.
The menu is fairly large with a selection of different items. I tried the chicken Murg Tak-a-tak, the goat curry, and the lamb briyani. The restaurant wasn't particularly big but did have quite a few tables. I really like the briyani with the raita. I thought it had a nice flavour and a nice kick to it. The Murg Tak-tak was ok, I thought it tasted mostly of capsicum. Not sure if that is how it's supposed to be though. I though the goat curry was ok too. It would've been nicer if you could taste more of the spices in the curry.

I got a butter chicken and chicken korma as take aways. The taste was super creamy and it is difficult to stop eating. Chicken in both meals was tender with large chunks. Highly recommended!

My husband and I had lunch here today and were really impressed with our meals. It was so yummy and the service was great! Iโm pregnant and have been craving Indian food for the past week, the dishes we ordered definitely satisfied all my cravings. Iโm just disappointed that we are here on holiday from Australia so canโt make this our regular Indian place.

Have just finished dinner here and it was amazing!! The food was beautiful and service was great! Such a welcoming family that own it , they made us feel so at home! We ordered the mixed platter for the entre which was AMAAAAZING - highly recommend and butter prawn with garlic naan ๏ฟฝ! It was all cooked to perfection and left us with full tummys!! We will definitley be back it is our new favourite spot ๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ

I went out with my family for dinner at Pahadi Pearl after reading reviews on FB. We ordered Hot n Sour soup. It was superb and gave real taste of how hot n spicy soup which we needed in this cold winter night. Then we ordered some Veg Manchurian n Veg Fried Rice with garlic naan. The food was delicious mouth watering and would definitely visit the restaurant again.
Highly recommended to try out the little secret pearl hidden in Pakuranga.

We went there for dinner and got a mixed platter of entrees and a main course each. The food was amazing! Everything was really fresh made and the spices were far and beyond compared to other Indian restaurants. Very friendly and accommodating staff and chef/owner! We tried this restaurant for the first time last night with four different curries, tandoori chicken and chicken tikka pieces for a birthday. We requested delivery and the owner delivered it himself to us. What a lovely guy. We couldnโt fault the food, it was amazing. We are fussy with our curries so had been driving a long way previously to get good quality. Itโs great to now discover this local pearl with the bonus of them also making a delicious goat curry. Just ordered dinner here for the first time. Iโve driven past every day for the past year since I moved into the area. I will be back. Pakora was very generous size and loved how they were fritter style meaning more crunch! Butter chicken (yes Iโm white) was delicious and had a really good flavour unlike those food court style ones. Ordered a main and entree and naan for 2 of us and still have a bit left over for a late night snack. Quick, friendly service with a smile and brilliant food - 5 stars!

The flavours are outstanding! The place is small and does not look appealing from the outside but cannot say anything negative about the food. The owners are friendly and the food is tasty especially the chef special shahi paneer. The prices recently went up but are still comparable among other similar restaurants. Have visited this restaurant many times!

Thats by far the best Indian food I had in Auckland. Super yummy. Their food is not just food its actually feeling.๐๐ Whenever I think of it again my mouth starts watering. The goat curry was soo yummy with so authentic flavours and the specially pahadi mushroom masala was sooooo yumm that I cant wait to eat again. BEST BEST BEST indian food i tried. The butter naan was so soft. <br/>Moreover the most important thing, the staff is very nice. Specially the owner. Very down to earth person.<br/>I would totally recomend someone. If you really missing good indian food, must go there. Pahadi Pearl is a little gem in my small neighbourhood. I loved that it was family owned. Service was average but no complaints. The owner cane out to speak to us directly and was an incredibly lovely and humble man. The prawn curry was amazing and so was the fish curry I ordered. A little pricy but Iโm willing to help out local families with their businesses. <br/><br/>I had ordered takeaway often from them after my initial visit. Such delicious naan bread too!

Pretty average place; pretty disappointed; I read the reviews and was intrigued; value for money by quantity but not by quality; it tasted like store butter chicken; no real imagination in the flavours; just a normal butter chicken; won't be returning; shame as so close to home; may give a different course a try but will hold off for now

Got takeaways from here tonight. The food was amazing. We got the Chicken Korma and Lamb Saagwala with some plain Naan and Onion Bhaji. Amazing flavors and tender pieces of meat. Was ready in the time the said it would be and had some Poppadoms thrown in for free. Would definitely eat here again.

We don't often get Indian takeaways but that might change now this place has opened within walking distance.<br/><br/>We ordered samosas, a lamb sagwala and chicken kadhai. The sagwala contained good quality lamb and the chicken kadhai (which was ordered as medium) had noticeable heat but was not overpowering.ย <br/><br/>The chicken kadhai was slightly too oily for my liking, but no way near as oily as I have had from other Indian restaurants. The samosas were nothing special but we were given plenty of rice and complimentary poppadoms.ย <br/><br/>Our order was ready exactly when they said it would be. Sadly there was no one in the restaurant when we arrived to collect our food. Hopefully others from the neighborhood try it out because the food is good and we would like to see this place stick around.
